For a second I was so afraid I would have to do savage. \o/

They knew that they'd get backlash from the people that can't clear the first fight of the tier otherwise.
Very sad.
What glowy panda armor?
Refering to pandaemonium with "panda" took me a few seconds to understand lol
Hold on, have they finally decided to make the non-Savage gear dyeable as well? Or is this just for a glow effect that has nothing to do with armor dyeing?
Afaik, they never actually stated that the VFX would be exclusive to the Savage version. A lot of players simply made that assumption, and almost seemed to pass it off as a fact.
Wow, awesome, for me... Will get it!
Also the thread title really threw me for a loop lol. I was thinking "SE added what now.....?!?!"
Locking rewards with cool unique aesthetic behind extra effort was always a bad bad idea so I too must thank our beloved producer for this decision.
\s
Isn't it only alexander where the Normal/Savage are different? Along with being dyable.
I do wish they would stop being so formulaic with everything. Endwalker has had some great additions, but content is so predictable in this game.
That's unfortunate. Heaven forbid savage rewards are unique and cool looking.
I was not expecting the normal mode sets to glow, but I'm certainly not complaining.
Thanks Square for making this armor available for everyone, so by a few weeks, no one will wear it anymore
Having seen many free to all / so easy nearly all have it gear worn frequently I feel this doesn't track at all. People will wear what they think looks good, I feel the amount of players wearing it simply because others can't is quite a fraction of the normal glamour "enjoyers".
They never said that the glow was exclusive to Savage. The main issue with this is that the savage sets will now be barely different as dyes won't stand out as much due to the VFX being the main focus of the sets.
Also, by making the normal armor glow, it seems they've locked us out of having a version without the VFX.
I'm saying that set should have been exclusive to savage. It creates engagement of content and brings people to try content they normally wouldn't have and it creates a uniqueness to a set that shows that you cleared said content. This is how MMO's used to work, and its a shame many of them have moved away from it. Unique gear from difficult content is a good thing. Making cool looking armor easily obtainable kills the value of it.
Are people actually against cool glamours being accessible to more people?
Bleh. What's the point of having a glow if you're stuck with black? I was hoping it was Savage exclusive so we could actually dye our gear for once.
tbh I would have preferred that normal mode didn't have the effects simply because I like the armor more without it.
Please, for the love of the twelve, just type out Pandaemonium.
They did? That’s good. I never really cared for the raid armor anyways. They all could’ve all been invisible for all I care. This I might actually save. Patch 6.2 feels a bit fresh and maybe worth grinding out. I like this.
The gear sets this patch are

Even the crafted stuff looks decent, in my opinion. It's very rare when I can honestly say that I actually like every gear set they add in a single patch. The downside is that I had to go back to hyur to make it all look good. lol
I don't like that there's no matte option. I don't particularly want to be stuck using the hideous eyesore and was hoping I could use the normal gear to glamour over the real gear. Guess I'll have to make a set that uses the gloves instead or something.
Real shame it isn't cash shop exclusive so only me and my buddies can buy it for £500 per set, after all we know the only REAL true metric of a gamer is those who can throw money at stuff.
Can't be having the poors wearing my shinies now, that just makes me feel dirty!
