Need information: Game Masters ignoring issue for a month. How to escalate issue?

This is not a grump fest, I am honestly just trying to get this resolved.
January, account was hacked. Tech team rolled back my account two weeks prior to issue. Ended up losing Blue Mage Job Crystal and Reaper Job Crystal (also all job related gear, but thats already replaced).
All Job quests are still completed, Blue Mage spells are still learned, Job Experience still correct.

Tech team sent email stating to submit in game request to Game Masters.
Four tickets later, I am told over and over by Game Master responses that the Issue would be resolved by the Techs using the original ticket ID.

Problem is, that ticket is closed and responses from Tech team points back to In game Game Masters.

How can I sort this out? My forum request for information was placed into the "Separate Support Required section and forgotten (I don't have forum access to that section).

While I appreciate everyone trying to help me search my equipment, I think I should actually explain this a little more clearly.

When the Inventory rollback happened, it rolled back to the beginning of January.
I am a newer player (less than a year), and had just started working on the jobs for Blue Mage and Reaper.
The Rollback pushed my inventory back to before I did the job quests. All armor, weapons, and glamours did not exist anymore (Yes, searched through each inventory location to no avail).
My Job levels, my quests, and Mage spells remained intact.

I even had to rebuy a lot of other armor, and Materia as those also were now 2-3 weeks back.

The cost of rebuying all of my gear was WELL OVER the 2 million Gil that I was rolled back to. This rollback cost me so much in gear progression, but there is nothing I can do about that.

I just need my Job Crystals restored so I can continue with those 2 jobs.

I dont think that helps when you have done the unlock quests but dont have the job crystal, which I assume is the case here.

There's no leveling the job if you are physically incapable of accessing it.

But it could've rolled also to a time before the quest unlocks. So either OP doesn't have access to those quests or he would prefer having them and not restart their leveling

If it rolled back to the point where you don't have the job crystals, check and see if youve completed the quest to obtain said job crystals in your journal. If not, leveling BLU would take about 3 hours if you can grab a friend (or someone willing to do it with you and waste some free time in limsa), and leveling RPR would take like... a day or two.

RPR does have less repercussions for losing it than BLU, though, because BLU has some hard to acquire spells... So if you can at least get them to restore that progress, then try.

Thats the problem, all the quests completed...
Still have about 60 or so blue mage Spells...
Just have no Crystals to do the jobs. They only Rolled back my Inventory.

That being said, does anyone have any advice for getting the Game Masters to engage? Or a way to Escalate the problem to their superiors?

The only thing I can think of is the Calamity Salvager NPCs, but there doesn't seem to be a section for buying Job Crystals for the unlikely event they get lost...

Just to confirm....
Your account was hacked, and a roll back was performed.
Was the date of the roll back to a point before you had the BLU or RPR jobs at all?
If not, as in you had those jobs before the date your account was reset to, then you should still have those soul crystals, as soul crystals can in no way be discarded or destroyed by a player.
They can however be stored in places outside of your armory chest.
Have to tried the /isearch command in game?
Usage:

• /isearch Soul of the Blue Mage
• /isearch Soul of the Reaper

Do this after you have opened the inventory of your Chocobo Saddle bags, all of your retainers, and your Moogle Mailbox. This will refresh the /isearch cache.
The /isearch results will have a clickable link which will show the location of the soul crystals.

For the Moogle Mail box, sometimes the account recovery team mails items to you, so there is a very slight possibility they may have mailed the soul crystals if they are truly not on you, your Chocobo, or retainer(s).

I called in once and got wonderful support with some account issues. Unsure how it is post-COVID, though.

Live chat use to be pretty responsive, but that was a couple years ago.

They can't. If you read the post, you'd know that they still have the jobs and all their job quests are completed. They don't have the job crystal so they can't actually change into the jobs in the first place because you have to equip the job crystal.

This really seems like the kind of issue the GMs should be on speed dial for and not have to go through an exhaustive investigation/approval process like with an account rollback.

I can't imagine just poofing the missing job stones back into your inventory would be very difficult.

Used to be 1-310-846-0345 or 1-858-790-7529

They have removed these numbers from all their websites though. You will likely need a ticket number, what I would suggest is open a new ticket and reference the closed restore ticket. Describe that you were rolled back, but that has meant your RPR and BLU jobstones were not restored.

According to the lodestone, your Blue Mage is level 70 and your Reaper is level 72.

If you actually read the OP's post, you'd see that they performed an inventory rollback only, and thus the issue is that he is missing the job stones, not the jobs themselves.

You should search for those Job Stones in your Inventory, in your Retainers, Saddle Bag and your Mails. It is not possible to drop, discard, sell those Stones. Try to equip a Reaper Weapon or a Blue Mage Weapon and see if it helps. I had now and then my Job Stones too hidden in my Inventory, don't know why, it just happens now and then. Check your Blue Mage Book, are all Spells still there, is your Gear still in your Armory / Inventory? Then your Stones should be somewhere and go to the NPC's where you took the Job Quests and see if they have a Quest.

While I hope you aren't up a creek without a paddle with this and you're able to get the items restored I have to ask - the inventory rollback, that was a process you initiated, correct?

I was under the assumption that you are instructed to not play the character while waiting for a rollback investigation as anything obtained from the start of the investigation to the closing of it would be lost forever? I hope you can get it fixed, but if the rollback counts as your one-time item restoration, you might be out of luck (which would be awful in this case and seems like some thing they should make an exception for).

After I applied for the Rollback, I spent most of my time playing my son's account or assisting FC members with things while I waited.
The only progression I did was the Clown Dungeon before it timed out. Placed the Costume in a Retainer storage (I love that outfit).

It took about 2 weeks for the rollback to actually start, and about 18 hours once it started (I think).
I received an email the next day from the Technician when it was completed.

OP didn't imply they discarded them, a GM performed a rollback on their character's inventory through commands. It reverted to a snapshot of their inventory taken 2 weeks in the past. That's how they find themselves in this situation. The inventory was reverted to a previous backup but the quests weren't reverted, they remain completed, so they can't "complete them again" to receive a new soulstone.

But they don't have Job Crystals.
The email from the Technicians instructed me to work with Game Masters... that's why I am reaching out here.
Sadly, no one has been able to point me in any direction that still exists, and Forum Moderators haven't picked this up yet.

The game masters don't accept reports from the forums - the community team is a different department. You want to open a GM ticket in game.

Not sure what option you should use though... probably "Report a Bug"

As I've said from the start, I've done that 4 times.
I was told it should be "Report Harassment"
Today, I got another response from the Tech Team there is nothing they can do as they are not connected to the Game Master team.

While it can be frustrating, the GM team is likely the ones who can help you better here, since they're the ones with the power to gift items to players. Send in your ticket to them, clearly describe the situation and that's its purely just the 2 job crystals you're needing, and reference any support ticket numbers you still know. You just effectively have to keep trying until you can breakthrough to one who will take it seriously and/or understand the issue enough to not write it off.

Alternatively, if the GMs keep giving you the full run around, you can always give up your one-time item restoration per account to try and retrieve one of the job crystals. Not an ideal solution, but it could theoretically undo part of the damage if trying to get both back is a lost cause after weeks of trying.

Make certain you're not going into too much detail on your ticket as that could confuse what your actual issue is.

Something simple like "the job Soul Crystals for the unlocked Reaper and Blue Mage jobs are missing from my character and its inventory since an inventory rollback was completed on X date" would be best.

If the GM needs more information than that, you can give it to them when they talk to you in game.

Also, as someone suggested earlier do "/isearch soul" in your chat box if you haven't already. It will list all the job Soul Crystals that can be found in your character's inventory, Armory Chest, chocobo saddlebag and retainer inventory. It could be that the GM left the souls in a different part of your inventory. Look to see if Reaper and Blue Mage are listed, if so you can than click "search for item" to see where they ended up.

I don't know then, maybe simplify the message

I'd say just use Report a Bug

I think before asking for a restoration (and using up your one-time restore, particularly as it will only get one of the two), the simplest message might be "these key items were lost due to a rollback and cannot be reacquired within the game. Under normal circumstances they cannot be discarded so there is no in-game way to get them back. Can you fix this please?"

SE doesn't pay enough people for job design/balance nor enough for in-game support/policing for how much they make.

Bet $$$ the GMs also do back end support as part of their job description considering how much work they don't do in-game.
