3 decent garduda weps

Well i think im impressed with the claws staff and sword... the other melee weps are meh. and once again whm gets pooped on with a big fat peice of crap. theres the link of stats.

Why do CNJ weapons always have stats that are only useful for damaging!?

Why not enchancement magic instead of enfeebling magic? >_<

how about some -enmity and some healing potency hell a lil mp hp combo even. so i can stop wearing that ugly pos green staff tempest or w/e its called.

Lol Conj is crap? Conj one is actually my #1 wanted list, windpotency+40 with another +8 from aubrist allegory is sexy. WHMs that doesnt nukes in raids makes yellow pandas sad.

Aerora does hefty damages to Coincounter, Misser, and Princess.

the only time ur really nuking as whm is moogle phase 1 and the first 25% of ifrit other than that ur pretty much healing and aero is so weak anyway who cares about +40 wind

If you're going in with WHM to primarily deal damage, you might as well go DD...

I can't believe that I even have to point out that the purpose of WHM is to heal. Having damage-based stats on these CNJ weapons is barely even worth it when you're only throwing a few nukes.

Pro tip: You can actually use cnj to dd. SE never told you cnj can only be used for healing in parties. Think outside the box! The more you know.

pro tip i can dd and build my enmity more too god are ppl mentally challenged? the whm is made to heal and buff just because u can cast a weak dd spell doesnt mean u shud i want a wep that enhances what whm is built for not its pathetic side job your all trying to shove down my throat.

*sigh* we already have a +wind pot one handed weapon... Why would they give us another one! It doesn't even look like a cnj whm weapon... /pouts about not having the staff for Whm

if your whm cant nuke + heal at the same time, you suck. whms using stone on coincounter/miser is a huge buff to blms dps and like chard said aerora does nice dmg to coincounter, +40 wind potency only enhances that and the +enfeebling makes the magic eva down from stone and the bleed from aero stick more often

Garuda weapons are cool, I approve. I will most def be going 7/7 on those! The new crafted weapons = wtf? Class specific?

Party > get on bard struck...
Me > nah i do more dps on archer...
Party > get...on...bard....
Me > ok....

Seems like SE likes to build cars with square wheels...

Pro Tip: You can nuke and heal, Difference is alot when u can deal extra 7-10k at raids especially if you are speedrunning.

Pro tip. use regen. and you'll be healing A LOT less than 90% of the time. then nuke like crazy what else are you going to do with your mp.

I toss out a stone and shiz too but I want a wep that focuses on my strengths like every other jobs has not my side job. Enmity - and healing pot / hp mp are more useful to whm than a lil extra dmg or enfeebling is. that is the point im getting at whm is getting screwed on the weps while the other jobs boost there strengths.

First of all cnj =/= whm. I am talking about cnj, I have no idea why you are mentioning whm. The two are difference. WHM is cnj with a specialization in healing. Cnj can heal and it can dd. In fact, ive seen cnjs outparse DD's, no joke.

So let me reiterate, a CNJ (whm is not in this conversation) can also function as a dd. No dev ever said cnj was only a healing class. The problem is devs couldnt anticipate that ppl would be so stubborn and so "stupid" that they treat FFXIV classes like FFXI jobs. They are not the same, they can be used differently. For example:

You can have one cnj heal, and one cnj as dps/backup heal. Thats just one example. Again, ppl are too close-minded and don't think outside the little box they make for classes. There's a reason classes and jobs are different. SE is trying to beat this into ppl's tiny brains but they still can't comprehend it. We even have class-specific gear now but ppl are STILL befuddled. What do you mean cnj and whm is different?! Why are they putting dmg buffs on cnj weapons?!

Its called a clue. Lrn2read it. SE can't make it anymore obvious. They are telling you: Cnj. Can. DD. Please. Use. And. Consider. This.

God damn SE needs to make a guidebook with all the secret and amazing things classes can do because apparently ppl lack the brain matter to comprehend a class that can do more than one thing.

Yep, Whm certainly does do a little DD when we have idle/start of fight/throw a heavy on that b*tch time... but the thing is our main weapon is always the healing staff because let's face it we are there to heal.

And since I can't change my weapon in battle ... the new garuda weapon is not very effective. I already had a +wind one handed weapon for when I solo ...

cnj and whm are the exact same job with there abilities - a few. and if your going in as cnj to just dd then there is a difference there too. point is whm/cnj can do dd but when its all said and done we exist to heal with maybe some supportive dd when we can. im just saying i want a wep that plays to my strengths like every other job has.

We already have Healing Potency+40 staff for healers out there that sits on their 3k MP most of the time. both WHM and CNJ have DD capabilities, none of their nukes are weak, jsut because you aren't gear for it, doesn't mean its weak.

imo you're better of melding vit onto a jade crook or something to boost enhancing skill than using the healing staff. regen really is "that damn good."

There are weapons that do though, and few outside of primal weapons that play towards the dd side of cnj. SE does their best to give ppl options. I'm sure there will be a primal in the future that focuses on healing, but I dont think Garuda is a good choice for it.

Regen is my lovely friend whom I visit often, But I have a vit+18 ring etc to help her out. I like to bomb people with a 1600 cure because some of these mobs hit like a truck, and that ugly ass staff is the best single item healing pot we have, so i will utilize it :D

Compared to blm cnj/whm nukes are weak. and if your going into a group raid or fight then you shouldnt be going in as cnj/whm to do main dmg over a blm/thm. whm cnj at the end of the day is there to heal and the +40 healing staff while good for healing looks like crap.. just be nice to have a cool looking wep with main stats that affect our healing side not our dmging side. i would gladly sacrafice a lil enfeeb magic and 40 wind dmg to be a better healer especially since in the long run my dmg will not out-weigh that of a real dd. and if any cnj or whm ever out dmgs any other dd class then those dd's blew the big donkey ****.

I enjoy the fact that they're not pure healers, but it boggles my mind that I have to keep pointing out that both CNJ and WHM primarly role is to heal and buff and having the nukes is a bonus, they are never going to out-damage a THM or BLM.

You can still use the THM fire combo as well, for whatever good it does...probably doesn't do much but you *can* do it. Also for balance reasons SE can't give you a high dmg weapon AND a high healing pot weapon. That is the holy grail of all weapons. You would have everything you needed in one piece of gear which is entirely broken.

Wow, i am not sure what to tell you.. people always brings 2 WHMs and if those WHMs can heal perfectly while still giving good damage output, what is wrong with it? they shouldn't be going WHM too because they happen to nuke? It's not about job comparison, it's about optimization, say your group usualyl does 40k total damage to Misser Mistress, if a WHM contributes at least 8k to it, it would cut down alot on the kills time.

Yes, WHM will never outweight other DPS, dur. But, adding an extra damages always, let me repeat, will always helps regardless.

I wonder if anyone bothered to notice the Garuda weapons have a noticeably shorter delay than most weapons of similar types, probably to offset their lower damage. >.> But hey we get stats tailored more to our jobs than some set bonus across the board like other primal weapons.

nobody is implying a wep have dmging and healing on the same wep. i just want a good wep that specifically deals in whm/cnj strengths for healing that looks kick ***. an example wud be instead of wind dmg give me mp back or a conserve mp funtion and healing pot and enmity. 3 main things that play to a whm/cnj strengths as healers.

I see! We I guess SE has other plans for cnj. From what I can tell they have decided that primal weapons will be dd weapons. That is a great dd backup heal weapon though, if you're not main healing you get wind dmg buffs + spell pwn. Heal pot can be ehhh cuz you're not main healing anyways lol. I see your point though, it just seems SE is putting heal pot hax weapon in other places outside of primals.

is there any instance that make healing difficult aside because the lag/delay?

ok i will take the peice of crap comment back.. i was more referring to the fact that i want to see the other stuff added to a wep that looks cool and plays to our strengths. it can be useful for dd aspect but i wud like to at least have an option depending on battle to choose if i want to boost my main focus or help my side focus in combat rather than just have a wep that only allows combat stats

Well like I said I feel your pain, so to speak, but I think SE just decided to split it as

DD for primals
Heal pot for other stuff (dungeons?)

From what I can tell that seems to be the rationale. Now if and when we get a primal thats more conducive to healing/support..we might see what you're looking for. Just as it stands, primals are offensive beasts. From a lore point of view, it makes no sense for any of them to carry something like heal potency...unless that primal was something like carbuncle. In FFXIV, though, the primals are elementals, thus offensive, thus heal pot on a primal weapon just doesn't make any sense due to that. Primals dont heal they, they fight it out and destroy.

Thats the only theory I have as to the separation.
