What would you say about such item? Considering that we already have the level skip, and the leveling jewelry, I think it would be great addition. I had the buff for the last 90 days and it helps a lot with the low level grinding.

It's a bonus for joining a low pop/new world. Selling it defeats that purpose.
It's free bonus for 90 days. Even if the potion was sold, people would still choose the new servers to save bucks.
It would also help avoid the situation when friends start few days apart and one of them then lacks the Road because the world status changed.
The buff makes the leveling less tedious. It's less less about difficulty and more about increasing the enjoyment.
Stop asking for more things to pay for. This isn't a free-to-play game. It doesn't need to be monetized like one.
Look at unfinished Hrothgar and Viera, additional funding would not hurt. The buff already exists, so Mog aquisition wouldn't be ground breaking, just convenient.
No. And additional funding isn't the issue.
Time is.
It is not needed i have seen more people complaining that they are overleveled for the msq some even complaining they got to lv70 in HW due to that buff.
The Hrothgar/Viera situation ain't just a money problem but a resource problem and no amount of money is going to get enough people who are decent programmers/artists etc who are intimately knowledgeable about 1.0-5.0 coding/design structure that are fluent in Japanese quick enough to sort anything out and even then SE the company itself needs to allocate said resources to the development team of FFXIV.
Mogstation team is a different team they look at both the global version and Chinese/Korean version and determine what to add to their respective cash shop, this hasn't popped on their radar probably for a reason, might be the track record of how many of item sells and this buff would be placed alongside the level skips if added thus ridiculously expensive, probably for 1 job, and honestly not worth it unless lazy or just don't care but unlike level skips this will still force you to do stuff to gain that exp, still make you do msq have fun being lv70 against lv50 mobs and every instance your sync'd down so hf with losing your abilities just to do content to get through the story.
I just would like for some of those things in the mogstation to be taken out and added in-game with other means to obtain them.. like max poetics, or max seals/hunt seals/FATEs whatever...
People like you are the reason the mog station has gotten so out of hand these last few years.
All jokes I would gladly pay 15 to 50 bucks for a road to 70 buff that I can use on an existing character. Road to 70 would be awesome to level crafters.
Yes leveling is easy but can be tedious and great thing about cash shops they can be used to offer pay for convenience options for those willing to pay.
It is an extra option, for those willing to pay. I get it goes against the original intent to a degree, but with cross server MB, linkshells, grouping server choice does not really matter outside of a select few things, and if those things are still of a concern to someone then they will seek a lower pop / new server.
Actually it's not. What it does in reality is encourage developers to create excessive grinds in their game so that people are incentivized to take the cash option instead of putting up with the grind. We see it all the time now in full retail products.
FFXIV is a full retail product with a subscription fee. We don't need a free-to-play economy on top of that. Stop asking to pay extra for things.
Here is the thing the cash shop is here and it is here to stay. Sure people will want to fight it, but they cannot stop it. As it stands the cash shop as cosmetic and convenience options. Grinds will always be a thing in gaming especially MMO's and tbh providing an extra convenience on the cash shop would be awesome. Truth be told I rather they just add DoH and DoL jump potions but I personally know that is a far fetched dream so road to 70 buff is best thing.
You are free to have your pov but even if grinds are made longer due to convenience options point remains they are still pay for convenience options. Also not an sale an aspect of need, simply a desire.
Never been about need, as mentioned leveling itself is not hard but can be tedious but instead of asking them to make leveling up easier asking for a convenience option to be added at a cost would be nice.
Overall cannot speak for anyone else but personally I have found DoW and DoM jobs far easier and quicker to level up, yet we have options to bypass that all together at the very least a purchasable buff would require some player input.
I created a character in May on Adamantoise and got the buff. In 3 months I got all my crafters/gatherer's to 80 as well as 3 combat classes just doing MSQ, class quests, and leves. Probably could have done more considering how much of the MSQ content I did while overleveled. God I miss that sweet, sweet XP so much I've had withdrawal for the last 2 months.
I'd buy a potion for sure, but I doubt we'd see it.
Sorry, it's a bonus for new players/characters. I don't think paying for convenience in that way should be a thing. I already disagree with the jump potions.
I where you are coming from and that is cool, and those of us that are in favor of such things deep down know it is a pipe dream but hey never hurts to try Joys of having individual thought we are all allowed to have our opinions, which is great so no need to apologize for how you feel on the subject that is within your right as a person and a costumer.
You can't stop the cash shop but where the playerbase spends its money as a collective decides what kind of cash shop it's going to be. Stable revenue being poured into leveling potions? That's a green light to further experiment in that particular section. Experienced mmo players have seen the inevitable in all these cash shops: they start out reasonable then later become out of hand.
At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself how much convenience do you want that you're prepared to suffer later repercussions that a cash shop may have on the game? Yes, yes, slippery slope fallacy and all that but one that has had real precedents in any mmo that has a cash shop.
Probably a rhetorical question but for me personally as much as possible since the repercussions are only a possibility. Sure, data might favor it from happening, but we cannot be a 100% certain that it will be the case for FFXIV. Personally never been a fan of not doing something due to the possible repercussions or failure. Sure I might kick myself later down the road it goes south, but I probably would also kick myself later for not trying since I would not know what the outcome would be. Though I am an odd ball.
The pragmatist in me knows they won't do it.
There are 15 potential jump potions at $25 each. Or 1 road to 70 potion that would let you punt all 15 classes in addition to crafting and Gathering to 70.
In truth, if you willing to pay for a road to 70 potion, just launch on a road to 70 server, then pay them to transfer the completed character to the server you actually wanted to play on.
The jump potions are jump and be done. The Road potion would most likely be time limited, and basically double the sub fee as much as the exp to offset the difference of revenue. SE would get same money but at double rate. It wouldn't affect the 70+ leveling so they might even end up in better spot.
Not a fan of this. I already find it stupid that people move to new servers to get houses, which just pushes the housing problem on the players of the new server. It's not good for the sense of server community when people change them.
