Have you guys gotten your final registration code for Shadowbringers?

I pre-ordered and used my pre-order code but I saw a thing that said we are supposed to get a different code for the final game expansion to register it and the first was just for early access.

Thing is I have not gotten any code other than the pre-order/early access code.

Have you guys gotten yours?

Not yet, but my physical CE should be coming tomorrow according to the UPS email I got. It should be in there. If I were to guess, they will be sending the bulk of the codes out starting tomorrow.

We will get it when SHB officially releases.

I preordered online through the Square Enix Store and have not received the code.

I have not recieved it yet, but I am expecting the code to appear sometime tomorrow.

I pre-ordered mine thru Amazon Digital and just checked. Amazon site says it will be posted on July 2 12 AM.

We should be getting them tomorrow, I think.

This thread saved me probably a couple hours with Square-Enix webchat support, as i was panicking thinking i accidentally deleted the Registration code e-mail back in May.

I didn't get mine either. So let's wait till tomorrow to see if we finally got it.

I contacted Square support and they assured me that the codes will be sent out tomorrow, July 2nd.

I preodered the physical Collector's Edition and haven't gotten anything, yet (I'm living in europe, btw.)


Almost two weeks, ago I've received an e-mail conforming the shipping but for reasons unknown they didn't give me a tracking number.
Also when I look up the order in the square store it says that the shipment is being prepared. As far as I know, many people in europe haven't gotten even an tracking number.

I also like to point out, that despite the Journey-Soundtrack's official release almost half a month, ago, they didn't even bother preparing this order.
Oh and, I paid both orders months ago.

Pre-ordered 6/1, got the code 6/7 (Early Access.)

Yeah that's your pre-order early access code. This thread is about the registration code you have to enter to keep playing after early access, which you will still have to do like the rest of us. :D

It says on the SE store page that digital codes are released on 7-2.

Based on my past experience with the SE store, you do not get the activation key in an email. Instead, you log into the store and go to your orders. From there, you can click "Unlock Activation Key" and the page will have the key.

NOTE: The keys are not available till July 2 on the SE Store. Some people have gotten theirs by now as they live in the east and it is already July 2nd for them.

With past orders from them I would normally get an email from SE directly saying that my order was on the way. I didn't receive anything like that this time around. Idk if they come directly from Japan or not, but it apparently got processed and scanned in Tennessee on the 27th of last month and ended up a state away yesterday. This morning I got an email from UPS and they were like "oh btw, your package will arrive tomorrow!" and the shipping details as well as the tracking number were given to me...so yeah, I'm sort of confused but I'm not complaining. I had no details as to my order's status and whereabouts until 9am this morning, but it had apparently been shipped days ago.

Wait, so we're supposed to get a code that we have to register with? Why am I having to manually register the expansion I bought? This isn't 1990, this has been automated for over two decades. I didn't have to do this when I bought SB.

As I said, I didn't have to do with SB. I bought the expansion a couple weeks after launch, clicked Play, and was playing SB. I didn't have to manually register my copy anywhere.

Not yet, but I've checked my mails for stormblood and in fact, I've received the bill three times :
first time : the day of the order in the online shop itself
second time : when they actually billed my account (start of prelaunch)
third time : official launch
So we can expect the registration code to be sent the july 2.

HW was less confusing with only one bill mail and two special mails, one for prelaunch code, the second for regular code.

The game has officially launched in Japan as the clock has ticked over to July 2. Therefore, all registration codes are redeemable on the Mog Station (or product codes on PlayStation Network).

That said, many retailers will be waiting until closer to July 2 in their time zone to begin fulfilling digital orders. This includes our own Square Enix Store in NA and EU, and our retail partners like Amazon, Gamestop, etc. No reason to panic if you have yet to receive your code!

Users who purchased physical copies, like the Collector's Edition, will find their full registration code included in the package.

Those of you with early access will be able to continue to play Shadowbringers as normal until it ends. I have received nothing but silence from SE. Doubly concerned because it appears that a album I ordered has gotten lost either by them or UPS. NO response from SE via phone (constant busy signal)l or web chat (Constant technical error) Oh well it appears that is a wasted $260.00

Thanks for the info, Bayohne. The only thing that's not clear to me is why FFXIV is the only MMO the requires the player to do the work instead of the system doing it automatically like literally every other MMO on the market, even other cross platform MMOs. But that's not something that we'll get an answer for.

The part about the physical Editions was to be expected. But I don't even know if my physical Collector's Edition has even been shipped, yet. on June 19th I've received an E-mail that my order has been shipped but I never got a tracking code. Even the status on the store states, that my order is "being prepared" for shipment (as of today, mind you!).
In the worst case scenario, I'm forced to buy a digital code or I might be forced to wait till the end of the "next" week, because I might not be at home (I work on shift) when the shipment should be delivered unannounced. I really hope that the store support will clear things up and that they will work on their communication. A whole bunch of european customers (been asking in different places) are sitting in the dark, like me, because we don't get any reliable informations.

None of the sources that you can buy the expansion from are the Mogstation. Mogstation is where your account is, even the SE Store is not run by Square. So yes you have to put a code in because none of these sources know what your mogstation account is, and that's probably a good thing. If they start selling on the Mogstation store, then I would expect it to link automatically. As for you never have to enter it for SB, did you buy the upgrade directly from Mogstation? If not then you had to enter a code.

To clarify: it was about 2pm Eastern time!

I saw someone in shout chat a little earlier today saying people should be able to register their final codes today, so I went a checked my order from the square Enix store and still only the pre order code is there. Not sure why that person was saying such things, but glad to know the codes in fact aren’t out yet and it’s not just me.

Last time I'm going to reply here, because apparently my posts aren't being read in full, only being skimmed and/or key bits being ignored....

As I pointed out, this is literally the only MMO that requires this of its players. There are other MMOs that have similar account systems that FFXIV uses, and they automatically update the info for the player. In fact, even the Mogstation does this after a certain amount of time of the expansion being out, as I did not have to manually do anything when I bought SB shortly after it launched. I bought it, it installed, I clicked Play, I was in and enjoying the new content. So it's clear that this functionality exists. No other MMO requires its players to do what is an automated process these days.

And no, I did not SB from Mogstation, I bought it on Steam since that's where I bought the game originally.

But whatever, it is what it is. The points I've made in this post will be ignored just like points in my two previous posts here were ignored.

also didnt get mine yet, however, i just saw people with their collector edition mounts ;( so i hope we get ours soon

They technically have until thursday to send it to us if we are all EA players

Still have yet to receive my code as well. They said codes would start rolling out at 11AM ET (8AM PT). It's now 4h30PM ET and still nothing. Weird.

At least from what it seems, PS4 and Steam codes have gone out. Not sure about Amazon but I know the SE store hadn't sent anything (at least not for me).

So my guess is the other stores likely won't see it until later tonight, if not tomorrow.
