Looks fake.
Some good guesses, but obviously fake.
Some stuff looks right. But I would be surprised to see three most asked jobs in one expansion. Would just leave BLU and the fringe stuff like bst and pup.
Better self heals than warrior. Its the return of the old inner beast?
I'm really not expecting SAM this early. But if they did reduce the GCD to 2 seconds before Skill Speed it would eliminate one of the major gripes this game gets; slow combat.
Well, if those are the classes I won't argue one bit with it but till I see official, I won't get hopes up. I mean I guess if he really does end up wearing that shirt in Japan fest could we claim this as legit, then again by that time we would already have the info so...meh
I was kind of hoping people wouldn't post this drivel here.
It's a lie tho, the new jobs in 4.0 are Red Mage, Mime and Calculator. I heard about it from a trusted source, my dad is YoshiP.
Lol no source...
It's the prediction on the 3 jobs that kinda threw me off...seems kind of silly.
The introduction should've been enough to claim something is off.
* MSQ will have 10 dungeons and 2 endgame regular dungeons
* 4 trials Anima, Minotaur Brothers, Shisa(original) Zenos Yae Galvus(Yojimbo)
* 4 raid boss battles 4 elemental fiends fiends(inspired by the 4 fiends of FF IV) they can be fought on any order. and will have 2 difficulty levels
10 MSQ dungeons and 4 trials? Heaven's Ward had literally half of that! Five dungeons and Two trials.
Than the part with Samurai getting two weapons? Paladin is the only combat job to date to ever get an offhand. I don't see any reason why SE would add another combat job with an offhand.
One "raid" roulette with 24-mans and 8-man primals/alex? Nope. That guy just smoked something and made a post.
This can be legit, since none of the "will never implement" features is on the list. (like parsers, hated by FF XIV developers)
The way I see it being described is it actually has two mainhand weapons that it uses and swaps between depending on the style being used at a given moment.Quote:

While it is a novel idea, I just want to remind you that they (FFXIV dev team) would literally never hear the end of it if they released a Samurai Tank Job that does not use Katanas in their primary tanking stance. There would be RIOTS. It'd be like releasing Dragoon as a job that primarily equips Swords.
Obviously fake, but I wouldn't mind most of these being true tbh.
> No new races
SCREEEEEE.
I'm just going to call this fake so I can prolong my inevitable disappointment when they announce no new race. :(
Sorry to say that but Yoshi said it in NA FanFest that there will be no new race in Stormblood. I think it was in the famitsu interview after the fest or in the keynotes.
There are really much hints on fake after all, like:
- Anima as Trial: Our current Relic Weapon IS Anima, so it is unlikely we will fight our own Relic Weapons.
- new Raid: the 4 fiends? really? and in 4.2 as the next step of escalation, the fiends again? even more repetitive than Alex with his endless Fausts and robots
- Mixed composition Roulettes
- Savage Roulette: Savage difficulty is not rouletteable or better to say it has really low clear chances
- No Leveling Roulette
- Offhand for DoW/DoM: They take the move away from Offhands for DoW and DoM to make them easier to balance in power, unlikely they take a step back and introduce a new job with offhand
- the 3 Jobs: Samurai as Tank, Red Mage as DD, and Dancer as Healer? Like most of the com is vocal to if the want to fit the 1/1/1 rule also i don't think we will get 3 jobs of the most wished...
- Samurai would need at least one of his stances at level 10 for the lowest Guildhest, depending on which weapon would be his mainhand
And even if Yoshi would wear the mentioned T-shirt and Red Mage will officially confirmed it is no proof for the information provided cause they can also read this and change their stage performance to line up with some of this to greater the hype.
>*base GCD reduced to 2 seconds
Suuuper fake.
>*Yoshi P will move to a producer role after Stormblood is released.
He literally say the opposite in Korea http://www.siliconera.com/2016/12/09...-future-plans/
He wants to stay as Director (so he's still the head of FFXIV development) but wants to drop producer, wants, not will, he admits it's too soon to get another producer.
If he were to drop director and keep producer he would lose too much decision power regarding the direction of the game.
If you knew a bit about Samurai history you would know that they are able to whiled two Katana's. Depending on how many Katana the samurai had allowed you to know what rank that Samurai was. So if they are gonna design the Samurai based on Japanese history. Then it will have a offhand weapon.
You may be right, but they take steps into the direction of only mainhands for Jobs, PLD is the only counterexample who has a shield and sword, all mages lost their shields in the process of further progress and all single handed mainhands for the mages got a two-handed version. So it is really unlikley to introduce another job with offhand or they would literaly make a step backwards in this matter. Also the weapon switch with stance switch would be hard to implement like discribed without hard overpowering in guildhests and other low level duties cause the first stance has to be at least at level 10, the lowest duty, to fullfill the condition "never can be without stance", if we say it is playable from level 30.
If this is true, I fear even more for WHM.
Did we really need yet another buffing healer in the group? People will just run Dancer+ Astrologian or, depending on the level of dancer heals, Dancer +Scholar.
"4 trials Anima, Minotaur Brothers, Shisa(original) Zenos Yae Galvus(Yojimbo)"
If this is real I'll forgive Yoshida for everything but the thing that made the post lose its credibility was when they were saying what shirt Yoshida is going to be wearing, I mean, c'mon man you were doing so well too.
Then again all those leaks about Final Fantasy 15 were true, so anything can happen.
I meant specifically from an outside standpoint. Nearly every review this game gets mentions it as the slowest combat ever in a MMO, and I've heard that gripe several times from friends from WoW that play on and off.
I however play a MNK and DRK; I'm never not hitting a button. However with changes to the battle system happening who knows what changes we could see.
"Developers very happy regarding the new story, it is as good or even better than Heavensward"
How could possibly devs aren't be happy when they created this whole thing?. Also even if i am a dev i wouldn't say "i'm unhappy with this story that i made", coz that's retarded.
Well, they did admit 2.0 wasn't very fun narrative wise and Yoshida apologized for the moogle questline in HW.
Heck, even George Lucas says he'd put a sledgehammer through every copy of the Star Wars Holiday Special so not all creators are happy with their works.
As a Dragoon main...

Damn, and I was excited to run the Anima trial. I heard that Anima is going to be a nasty boss. She has blonde, heel-length twin tails and a majestic outward appearance, which tempers her enemies' hearts and minds when she performs her dance of transformation.
Here's the leaked screenshot of the Anima boss:
One dungeon per level is far to many. You would be getting out of one dungeon only to need to run another shortly after.
That was due to upgrade path problems caused by main hands and off-hands not dropping together. Going from a two-handed weapon to a one-handed weapon was often not an upgrade unless you had already gotten the shield as well. Changes to how drops work in 3.2 pretty much fixed that problem which the Paladin was still victim of. So jobs will main-hand/off-hand weapon sets are not problematic anymore.
Sounds pretty fake to me.
RDM have the ability to raise?
...
It's not too far fetched, it's part of their spells

Forbidden game

"Raise is exclusively for healers," he says, before immediately naming the job that proves him wrong on that point.
I don't know if you've ever played a Final Fantasy game before, but Red Mage is all about physical offense, black magic, and white magic. They're not just a stabby Rapier job with a fancy outfit.
I remember when Heavensward speculation was going on, and some japanese blog posted/leaked the "Dark Knight" moves. And they were all nonsense. And of course the real thing was released and the blog vanished.
People do things like this when they're bored.
All that other stuff aside, is Yoshi-P REALLY going to just be a producer of FF14 and move on to direct other things? No....nononononooooo, he's the one who saved this game from being a disaster! We need him at the helm! Please tell me this isn't true!
Some stuff sounds it may be correct but the Sam, and Dancer.. still never confirmed by SE themselves and highly doubt info would have been leaked out.
I think it is moreso the player that posted it and his dreams, lol
Samurai will be an offensive tank, etc..
Again until confirmed by SE themselves i find it doubtful.
Also i imagine there will be more then one 24 man raid during the entire duration of stormblood
