Tried out the ability and it's really good for incoming status attacks, but to be it for 1 pty member makes it to where it's not good to use in certain situations. If they were to change the ability to hit everyone, it would be better, yet at the same time would have to make it to where it's not spammable....unless it's shared w/ the other songs, but refresh every 5-10 secs after the song blocks the effect maybe? Idk.
It's 1 of the complaints I have w/ the BRD's new ability.

also, SE can throw Bard a bone and make it so it blocks any debuff/ailment once...ANY debuff/ailment in the game, the song should be able to prevent it once like the tootip says -

I disagree with the complaints about it; I think it's a fantastic ability. It's only issue is that there isn't really any status in the game right now. If there were more opportunities to use it, I guarantee your minds would change.
Also you don't need to cast it on everyone, just yourself. -

Asking Yoshi to give bards the ability to completely negate any and all status in any situation probably wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. He'd probably flick his cigarette at you and say 'adios' or some other crazy Japanese guy action.
Warden's Paeon is fine IMO. Its only issue is that the only relevant status right now is warrior's pacification and the one chimera in fractal. If this was around during crystal tower, I think people would be alot less critical of it. -

Its mostly there to stop a WARs pacification at the moment. Cast it on a WAR before the pull, and during down time just before the enemy becomes targetable again.
Also, casting it on your physical DPS during the periods of downtime in Ravana EX, can help remove the Slow debuff if they accidentally hit the wrong side of his counter!
Its pretty good to use in PVP, with all the status attacks being thrown around. Put it up on your healers, and as many other team mates as possible while you're waiting around at a node. I've noticed you can only target people in your own alliance with it though, which is a bit of shame :(
The way I'd like it to be buffed, would be to extend the duration to maybe 45-60 seconds, and/or make it target all party members within a small radius around the caster. -

Warden's one-ilm punch. Sounds good on paper, isn't particularly useful in practice. Even if you gave it something like a 200 potency heal upon consumption of the buff, it would still be "eh" and not really worth a GCD considering the game's current meta is "dps even if you aren't a redbox".

Gotta agree, it needs a change that helps in a raid scenario, lest it fall into the One-Ilm Punch category where it will either be godly so they won't tune content for it, or useless, which they will tune content for. A 30m duration on Warden's would be a nice band-aid fix but that'd either be broken in the scenario where it works (prebuff entire party!) or just relegated to Pacification duty pre-fight and during downtime - nice for WAR but not exactly a flattering skill, and we have Selene's cleanse all skill for some of those anyway.
Something like it becoming a Goad that can only be used mid-fight (like if say you have forced fight downtime and want to help the tanks out but don't need to sing Paeon otherwise), or, screw it, a Clemency level heal you can only do a few times a fight, no MP cost but a 60s/120s CD, that'd be an actual option for raiding even if in general something you don't want to do, that'd be better than what we have. -

[ I'd almost love to see it altered slightly so that it does the same as now, except it also blocks incoming damage to the target. Something we can pop for the fights where we know a big massive hit is about to come and hit the tank for example.
Think.. the Original ARR intro movie, where the warrior gets hurt by incoming bullets and the bard leaps forward, casting a temporary 'shield' over him while the mage heals him. This is what I thought the skill would be...
