New Moves , Abilities & Weapon Skills

I really hope yoshi-P & dev teams love them and add them to the game


When patch 1.18 came out I notes these things:-
1 – people party only to win so they made only 1 effective strategy ( 1 gladiator + archers and mage) to finish raid dumping other classes which I think it shows how the game have bad balance
2 - There is no major deferent between the melee classes in game play except the way the skills and motion looks or damage
3 – A melee like the lance need to be super buffed it need to have more important role to the raid party exactly like the mages for there cures if the dev fix this the game will be super enjoyable but dont just raise damage for balanceing
4 - try to balance thing so that if a party of 8 lancers can finish a raid if the dev really do that the game will be super powerful and unique and it will open 1000 of new strategies when playing the raid instead of 1 good strategy to finish it
6 – The dev need not to be afraid throwing new things quickly waiting for 2 or 3 long months of testing and after each patch they start fixing give us patches every 2 weeks treat us like testers and we will share with u guys or ideas tell the ps3 version comes out


Some new moves ideas that I think it will help this game battle system and make it more enjoyable
1 – My focus was to make each class powerful enough that we can make a group of 8 player of the same class can finish raid 50
2 – Make every class very unique not only in it role in party but also the way it play
3 – I started with the 3 melee classes that after patch 1.18 people start ignoring (lancer – marauder – pugilist) and later I will edit my post and add rest classes
4- each class should have exclusive effect to there skilles when they are useing them

1 - AOE
Add an option for using aoe "area of effect" " to all of lancer moves and weapon skills same as the conjure and thaumaturgy magic spells, all moves in aoe should have same targeting effect as " Pierce " skill & all moves that it was already aoe cant be change to a single attack

2 – Leg Sweep II
Strike low, dealing blunt damage and stunning enemies surround all player body. Does not affect flying targets.

3 - Twisting Vice
When playing as a lancer let "Twisting Vice " have exclusive %30 chance of breaking all the mobs TP to 0 & add new motion effect like a glass break or something else if its 100% break the TP

4 - Comrade in Arms
When playing as a lance make "Comrade in Arms" have exclusively 20% chance of fully full player TP to 3000 when hitting a mob and "Comrade in Arms II" have chance up to 40%


5 - Curse of Doom
change " diversion "to "curse of doom" and make it exclusively to lancer & make it a buff that immune any single physical attack & after the character been hit it curse the hitter and untenable it of using any normal attacks, magic's & weapon skills for 15 sec and make any lancer in party double damage it if the mob is still cursed & let skill work even on bosses like ogre


6 - Heavens Thrust
add " heavens thrust " that requires 3000 TP its a move that dizzy the mob for 3 sec & cancels any moves its casting and rest all the hate it & make to 0 then first player that attack that hit the mob or it sees will take a new hate


7 - Mana Surge
add " mana surge " successful attacks reduce the target's evasion Hitting the target inflicts an enfeebling status which grants attacking party members the ability to absorb MP

the downside make each lancer can pot only 1 dot so if lancer change from "speed surge" to "mana surge" the dot will be replaced instead of add a new dot, but having 3 lancers in 1 party any lancer can pot 1 dot so its going to be like this 1st uses mana surge, 2nd uses life surge & the 3rd uses speed surge 3 dot will be on the mob


8 – Lancer Dots Raise Up
Make the dots raise with each lancer in the party using same do
Like if we have 3 lancers using mana surge 1st dot give us 10 mp every 100 hit damage if a 2nd lancer used mana surge the dot power will raise and will be 20 mp for every 100 hit damage and the 3rd will let the mp raise to 30 mp and if we have 8 lancers party every 100 hit damage will give 80mp which will help for curing because no mage to heal in party

9 - Full Thrust
Change "full thurust" cool down from 60 to 30 sec & change it from given TP to absorb TP same amount of damage dealt to enemy so if we say before changing it "full thrust" do 150 damage and give player 500 TP, after changing it, if it deals 150 damage it will absorb 150 TP from mob + gives you 500 TP from what it normally gives you that means with every 30 sec lancer uses "full thrust" it will take 150 TP from mob and gives u back 650 TP it will give lancer exclusively more control on TP



10 - Super Trammel
A powerful attack that will let player hold the mob for 6 sec both of them can't do any thing very help full if the mob escape tank and start attacking healers

I know this is will over power lancer but It will make it lancer enjoyable & a super priority in parties

Well, i asked them already an MP surge. For full thrust i asked a mechanic similar to pummel, that have exatra MP cost but deal decent damage and has 30 sec cooldown.

About the rest, doubt it will happen...because while SE failed in balancing the game after 1.18 (before 1.18 you probably do would be able to complete the raid with any party combination you wanted) they want to have roles more defined...they want to force people having tanks and healers, even if this means breaking the game mechanics and making it a game of 3 classes (GLA, CON and ARC). Expect this to end like FFXI, where or you have the "optimal setup" for a certain event or people will just leave out outside it.

Um...they've already mentioned they're working on class balance to coincide with the job system.

for starters, Lancer already is a great damage dealer. what you are asking for is lancer to be the best damage dealer by far, which is the complete opposite of wanting class balance. and the new dungeon is not a 3 class dungeon. you can win it in more then just one way. its just people suck and always take the easy way out. blame the players, not SE for doing the dungeon in one way and one way only.

what ur talking about is what i want 2 change
lancer currently plays like this (raise TP with any normal attacks then use Ferocity + Raging Strike + Hawk's Eye + Doomspike II or Twisting Vice or Chaos Thrust)to do the highest damage as possible or break mobs TP, meanwhile it uses some dots to help party members
this is the only role for lancer and its repetitive and boring

but with my new moves we can make endless strategies for example a party with 8 lancers 2 can tank,2 can DD, 2 can heal and 2 can TP control

with(curse of doom, super trammel, leg sweep, heavens thrust and some other buffes) lancer will can tank
with (mana surge and dot raising) MP will never stop helps healing
with (new full thrust, new comrade in arms, moonrise, TP draine and new twisting vice ) lancer will became super TP controler

8 lancers vs ogre it will make the game more challenging and enjoyable

If you have 8 lancers doing different jobs... you are not balancing out anything. If they can succesfully heal like a mage and tank... that's just not good for this game. They should nerf some classes and add some more variety in what they do.

its not a job replacement its a stratgy, lancer not a healer replacement if u read the (MP surge & Dots raise) u will know what i mean

1 lancer in party can't heal he will lose MP super fast but if 8 lancers in party and all of them use "mana surge" the lancer that hit 100 damage will get 80MP

its just a stratgy people chose what i want a battle system thats alow palyers to add any palyers and choose a stratgy and fight a battle system every class is so important

wait tell u see the rest new moves for other classes

unfortunately we will have to wait prob 3-4 months for jobs to come out before SE listens to any complaints about class imbalance as jobs are supposed to balance party play.

If they get back 80 mp, that's just OP. I like that you add other effects to some of the already existent attacks, but it shouldn't be made so Lancer's can heal all the time if they choose to. That's just not how a job system works UNLESS you can equip any arm as a white mage.

loool i know its sounds OP but if u think of it they will get 80 mp if they r 8 lancers in party if 5 they will get 50 mp if 2 they will get 20 mp its not OP and when faceing ogre if the 2 lanecrs who r in TP controler role lose there control on TP and the ogre used his aoe super attack things going to miss up the tankers will lose control or die in a single hit, there is no aoe curing for lancers with so it will be gameover for them but with the new skilles i added there is tons of ways of surviving this situation thats what i mean by stratgy every 1 should focus in there role even if they r same class

think of it like the talent system in wow you have 3 talents for each class, each talent have its defrent way of play and role in party

its not going to be easy fight with ogre but hard & challenging and i think if the dev team make a system that alow 8 players with same class finish rank 50 raid thats a good system coz when u mix the 6 u will get infinit stratgis of how 2 kill the ogre

when i go back home i will add the mard and pugi new moves

The problem with this analogy is that in WoW you can't actually spec fully into each tree. Even though the warrior is a tank/damage hybrid, it can't actually do both properly at once but instead has to pick one build and go with that.

In FFXIV class builds are limited by the number of action points they have available for equipping abilities, however, this isn't much of a limitation at all and every lancer has a very similar ability palette. Thus if a full party of one class is able to clear dungeons, either the dungeons are very easy or the class is capable of performing any role at any time and is massively overpowered.

I'm not going to rip into your ideas too much (I'd think about them more but your typing style is sloppy and it makes reading your post unpleasant regardless of the quality of your ideas) but one that stood out was your suggestion for Comrade in Arms that seems completely broken. CiA II especially will give players a pretty much perpetual state of 1k+ TP, allowing an endless stream of back to back TP attacks.
