Went to gamestop today so it was up and it was that much.
For the collectors edition is most likely going to be $60 dollars (but this is just a guess).

most online shops are just speculating atm they have had it for 99$ and released december 2015 at amazon when was 1st announced lol so yeah im waitin for official announcement from SE doubtful its gonna be anywhere near that price considering u can get the full game for half that price

Nothings official until SE makes it official and they haven't given any prices yet. Though $40 sounds right for the expansion i wouldn't expect the physical CE to be $60. It comes with that sweet Midgardsormr statue. Expect that to be anywhere from $80 as a low optimistic price to $120.

Amazon is also selling the expansion for $40. The placeholder price used to be $60. It was changed to $40 in December. Suddenly all stores change the price to $40.
I'm willing to bet the price is really $40 for the expansion. It's not a bad price either. People paid $40 for two virtual wedding bands, it's not difficult seeing them paying $40 for an expansion. -

Some people prefer having the game on a disc for faster installation and as a backup install in case you can't get a connection to Square's servers to update or reinstall. I paid less money for a digital copy of the game when 2.0 came out and it's still a little bit cheaper now compared to a disc copy. Square is still making money off of digital copies. The only reason the physical copies are higher priced are to cover the costs of producing the boxes, discs, and shipping them to retailers.Quote:

PHYSICAL -

Collectors PC £80 to £100 ($80 to $120)
Collectors PS4 £90 to £130 ($100 to $150)
these are the prices i have seen on average fly around they are not solid only estimates based on the prices of new games and expansion packs :3 -

I think I have buy the game with full expansion 40$, physical (with 2 or 3 expansions, long time now)
Physical version are often 10$ more.
Pretty sure the physical CE is 70$ max -
