Will you buy a personal house in 2.4?

I already bought house but just wondering how many people will buy a house when 2.4 is out. They are added a 2nd zone to each ward doubling the amount of current houses in the game if you didn't know.

Smalls may go fast on legacy servers not sure about other servers though.

At the cost of a mansion, and at the rate I'm able to save gil, I might as well save for a mansion at the 3.0 expansion hoping I can get a mansion in Coerthas with a snowy terrain.

Its mansion or nothing for me, nothing less.

Nope. Not even combining all of the gil I have on all eight of my characters do I meet the minimum 4 million gil for a small house. But my FC room is nice. So, there's that.

It really depends on if I can log on in time to buy one. My server is crazy about housing.

I hope they come out with new and fun things to grow in the gardens. I enjoy gardening for itself, but it helps when it's also profitable.

I feel the same exact way haha They are still so expensive for a small. I want a single house for sure! Bigger the better :rolleyes: I just don't know if i will be able to rationalize buying one right now when I need my money elsewhere. One day i will have a house for myself!!! Snowy terrain and on top of a nice mountain would be amazing! With frozen waterfalls in the background ;)

Will be buying my 2nd, considering 3rd and 4th. Unless they announce expanded garden plots or a way to get a garden plot without wasting a house space.

mmm, I am kind of boycotting it because it is so flawed, it makes me so sad because I was looking forward to it a LOT

It is not even a personal housing system, it is the FC housing system but it just so happens individuals can also compete against the FCs.

But you could do that before by making a FC with your Alternative characters so... *shruggles*

It's a shame... If only we had a system (instanced or not) with a house and yard of which you could expand upon using quests that needed carpenters, black smiths etc etc to either do the expansion for you or you could build it yourself... think of all the wood and other materials we would need!

Could have expanded the market board with a job board and it would host jobs like 'need 1 BSM to fufill expansion of my main room: materials provided by requestor: 1k gil. Materials provided by BSM: 20k gil reward

To expand your garden you could need 1000 Grade 1 soil of your region?

You could do 1 job max a minute and it would be pretty cool to have people help you build your house if you cant do it yourself.

Since everyone knows what the skinny is now, all the smalls will probably be gone within 90 seconds of the servers going back up.

20 x 8 wards x 3 zones = 480 smalls added. I would be legit surprised if they were all gone in the morning.

My FCs medium house will be in Mist and my small house will be in the Oasis so it'll be nice to have two easy teleports.

As a big crafter I just worry about the temptation to make all of my own furnishings. That's going to take me to the loony bin.

One of the main things I've been saving for this patch is a house. I'll only be able to afford a small but that's enough to decorate, garden and make me happy.

I will if they lift the able for them to take away unused houses.

I take 2-3 month break form every MMO I am play each year, come back but still take a break. In 15 years of MMoing I've played 4 mmos. Sometimes you just need to take a break. And that break would cost me my house.

Already have a house between me and my hubby's FC. Tbh, its lost its luster and I wouldnt have even bothered with housing if they'd have given us gardening pots in our innrooms >.>;

This. I feel exactly the same way... Well, except that I live in a place with far too much snow and would like a house on the beach...

They never implemented idle timer for house. Which is one reason we have overcrowded wards to begin with.

You know you can change the permissions so anyone can go in the house.

That doesn't let me harvest my garden, redecorate, or use my chocobo stable with my Alt though... If I cannot use the features of my house with my alt, its useless to my Alt.

money already save up enough for a medium house (plot & build permit), all that need is take off school that Tuesday and join the house rush against the NA and the EU (mostly the NA)

is where that came from. It hasn't been implemented yet, but it is coming. So his comment is still valid.
