Bronze, Silver and Gold eggs for Hatching-Tide
So my friends and I logged in and completed the first stage of the quest line. The Dreamers talk about finding eggs about the world but don't say if its dungeons/fates/randomly placed. We have run around and can't see any in the zones. If anyone could guide us in how we are meant to find them it would be appreciated.
Brief overview town version part 1 FFXIV Easter Event:
The town vers of this event was also confusing. I'm jotting a brief sum up of it here. Correct me and I'll fix later if I get anything wrong.
Pick up the Event from a quest giver in one of the the three cities. Get your free lvl 10 Pristine Egg Cap (a hat with stats) from npc close by. If you are lvl 20 or above you should buy the lvl 20 Vibrant Egg Cap (hat w/ stats).
Go to Gridania (how will this work for those low levels in Limsa who have not advanced the quest line??? *frowns*). Go to old Gridania the amphitheater. Blab with quest giver Jihli. If you are level 20 or above you want to wear the (20) Vibrant just because there are so many who are wearing the free (10) Pristine. Yell for party (not shout because that reaches the entire world which is pointless but yell is just the town you are in).
Party up with only one person. The other person has to be wearing the opposite hat of what you are. If you are Vibrant they must be Pristine. There are other hats and rings. Rings do nothing for the event. Other hats do nothing at this time.
Go to the Yellow gate. Inside the city not outside (that confused me I was outside looking for stuff). Just inside Yellow gate will be two glowing baskets and npc only you can see. One called Vibrant one called Pristine. Advance quest with npc. Pick up the egg that matches your hat. Carry it back to the amphitheater. If the Sprig stops you go back and get the egg again. Hint: go the long way around there is no getting past the Spriggins.
Collect reward.

In my case I tried to do the event again with another person and the eggs didn't appear for me to pick up but they did appear for the other person. Still trying to figure out what up with that. I wore Vibrant Egg Cap both times.
