I know I myself are very curious as to how they plan on changing class abilities with jobs (Such as GLA-> DRK for instance. considering how many of GLAs abilities are for tanking). Perhaps we could get some slight alterations for the ACN moveset with job crystals equipped
SCH: Bane -> Boon
Spreads a targets Galvanize and Replenish to up to three nearby party members. Only available when under the effect of Aetherflow.
SCH: Energy Drain -> Replenish
Restores 8% of target's maximum HP & MP. Grants a "Replenish" buff which continuously restores 5% of a targets HP & MP over 15 seconds. Only available when under the effect of Aetherflow.
SMN: Energy Drain +
Increases the amount of MP restored from using Energy Drain.

Both Boon and Replenish sound like incredibly OP skills. For replenish, I don't think really think SCHs need a DoT like healing skill. WHMs have one already. Plus your version of it refreshes both HP and MP. People already complain that SCHs have little to no MP problems when compared to WHMs. This would only serve to further unbalance the two classes.
As for Boon, Adlo's shield when critted is EXTREMELY powerful. To have the ability to make it AoE would literally just be overkill at this point. No one would EVER bring a WHM to twintania if this change were to happen. Why? You know a fireball is coming because she places a marker over her targets head. Have your SCHs spam adlos on the target till someone crits then hit your version of "boon" and suddenly the whole group has a 2k+ shield on. It would only trivialize twin's mechanics and the virus nerf that was implemented by SE was meant to stop us from abusing virus to do just that. -

I get where you are going with this and I like the ideas tbh. FOr the sake of playing pretend lets say they were to implement these
boon would be fine if it spread the buffs with perhaps half potency
replenish would need to be nerfed to be closer to regen, something like 3% every 3 seconds for 15 seconds. I would say though even still that gives sch a huge one up over WHM but thats my 2 cents. -

When they mentioned future jobs will affect base classes more to suit their role they were referring to their class skills rather than adding new weapons and stuff. It doesn't need any additional changes to accomplish that -- both jobs are already terribly potent and use all or nearly all of the class abilities regularly. SCH/SMN is fine the way they are, ARN was designed as a hybrid class no changes need. They even said they they may change it so that ARN will be able to queue up as a Healer instead of DPS for the pre-job Dungeons.
About the classes 2nd Jobs. The Devs have already stated a few things.
1. That equipping a Job will either swap out are alter skills as needed so they fit for the Jobs new Role
2. That they would be released as soon as all the bugs that #1 introduces are worked out.
3. That Gladiators 2nd job would be Dark Knight.(maybe) It was stated as such in the example they gave of how #1 would work. -
