Are you full i90 with BiS on every available job and all achievements compeleted? Thennotoutofcontent. Justoutofcontentyoufeellikedoing.
Content I'm prevented from doing, not don't feel like doing. I have every relic, every piece of darklight in the game, if I could do the same with i80/i90 I would happily. I cannot.
Also - Grinding gear isn't content, it's just grinding, content is the raids/events themselves, not the obtaining of gear.
inb4 someone comes in and says that grinding gil for FC house is content.
get master fighter crafter gatherer all 50 then say out of content
still there is lots to do for me
Could always help out others to win their fights and talk to friends. People play MMO's differently I guess.
You're out of your mind if you think any developer is going to create fresh content with no grind limitations as fast as players can play through it. If you strip away low drop rates, grinding exp/currency/equipment, time lockouts, and all other forms of limitations that MMOs use to keep players playing, they aren't really that much different than that of other genres. The only type of game that could possibly keep non-grinding content coming as quickly as players could play it is one with randomly generated levels and events, but that type of game isn't necessarily for everyone.
Come to try pvp, with your fancy full90 pve gear, then tell us you exhausted content while pwned over and over , praying to gear up sooner or later :)
although i havent finished coil, i do agree if compared to WoW end game raid, FF doesnt have much end game raid content... only 4 bosses? and 3 same bosses that you have beaten twice now
FF should have a lot content, they have a lot of material to do this.. FF1-FFX alone is enough material
i wish they make a raid like the black temple, karazhan or w/e most of wow raid are interesting anyway
One week after 2.1 and this game still sucks.
We were all thinking it, someone had to say it.
I have no problem admitting I am not good at pvp. Judging by what you have said, your tried it at some point in a MMO and it wasn't for you. As far as I can tell all teams are privy to these abilities, and have the freedom to form a team that's smarter, quicker and more talented at CC'ing and coordinating? Or do people just have a real hard time accepting that it takes a degree of cunning and cooperation to accomplish victory? 6 seconds, 30 seconds or a 5 min CC, doesn't matter If you know how to do it better. Capitalize on each others strengths and protect weaknesses.
Too much content! I am running around panicking because it at this rate I won't even be able to finish 2.1 by the time 2.2 is out!
Yeah just go pvp that is beein infested with filthy exploiters and talk about content after.
You did absolutely everything from 2.1, included Tribes at maximum rank ?
Stop comparing everything to WoW. World of Warcraft is older, years of content and you're not taking in consideration how it were when it started. FF14 aren't a big mix of all Final Fantasies in one, it's an individual game with elements common to the series and come cameos. As the game get expansion patches and then a proper expansion, then we will have more and more content. Just like every single game ever.

To prepare yourself for WoWs end game material several months after WoW was released you had to run anywhere from 10 to 100's of runs in the same dungeons, over and over and over, to get the gear you needed to spend hours, and hours, clearing trash in 1 raid, day after day after day, week after week, gearing up your guild so you could keep spending more hours in the same raid killing the trash again, and again and again, so you could fight the same boss again and again and again, for months. The icing on the cake was, you hope you had at least 40 people online in your guild. If people didn't log on, you had to wait minutes and minutes and minutes maybe even hours to form the raid to spend the hours and hours clearing that excess of endgame. Wait no, it wasn't end game, it was simply monotony. Rome wasn't built in a day.
like everything this game has pro's and con's. I have made the choice to play this over other games because i love final fantasy and i trust that this game will get better content. The PvP has, in my opinion, been done very poorly, but there will always be those that will take offence to that opinion, so sorry. I see people complaining about no content, because they complete everything extremely fast, and "no life" it. But just because you reach the end of something does not mean that it is over. Enjoy what you have accomplished, use your ability to help others, just use it for the sake of using it and try mixing it up a little bit. Honestly, what is the rush?
Everything job maxed
Full ilvl90 on 2 classes, mix of 80/70 on the other.
Crafter full hq.
Clerared all the contents.
160 morale on brd..
yeah is going to be boring until 2.2 for me :\
Actually, I PvP a lot across many different types. MMOs, MobA's, FPS's, etc. I enjoy PvP a lot. It's fun, it's dynamic, and it's a good way to see how well you can cut your teeth against other people.
But MMO PvP is almost always frustrating and poorly thought out because it's always designed as an after thought. Classes have heaps of abilities, dedicated healers are a frustrating wrench that can single-handedly dictate the entire style of a PvP system, and CC is generally overdone.
Sure, you can say that if all classes had a five minute CC, it'd be balanced, because it's whoever hits their button faster wins, but it's a horrible balance. Whoever hit the button first would win, no contest, on a five-minute CC. Sleep is far from the only problem in this game, though. Playing whack-a-mole with WAR-SCH-SMN-SMN is an excersize in futility that I've not seen matched in any other system to date.
You have prob just never played a mmorpg with decent pvp, but yea using ff xiv as an example, I could see why you hate it.
There is pvp focused mmorpgs you know, with good pvp in them.
But yes, as a pretty serious pvp player I cant take pvp in this game seriously, though I didnt buy this game for the pvp anyway - who would?
why not? i know WoW is old, but thats why SE can learn from them, make atleast 2 raid content
wow is old and there is no real mmo back then (only EQ and UO?), therefore no example to follow, they set new era
this is 2013 lot of mmo around, why do SE have to start this game like there is no raiding mmo around?
the argument of "wow is old" is useless, open your eyes this is 2013 lot of mmo around, lot of example around
I don't understand how people get to the end so quickly - or why they'd want to.
The pride at achieving everything must be tempered by the fact that you've played yourself out of the game.
Deepest respect to the OP, but go play something else until 2.2.
Did you finish AALL the beastmen tribe lines? if not.not out of content.Selectively doing some content and selectively not doing some content,is NOT being out of content.YOU are CHOOSING to not do content.and for people like you...you will never be happy no matter what.go to another mmo or something.
And merry xmas ^^
Those aren't fetch quests. Fetch quests are when you have to get an item and take it to a specific NPC to progress the storyline. There's only one, maybe two cases of that happening in the Beast Tribe quests. Everything else is "kill x monster" or "perform x task."
They might not be overwhelmingly interesting, but don't use a specific term to describe something when it doesn't fit. And, fetch quests have counted as content since it gave you something to do. That's content. Hell, it even rewards you for doing it with Philosophy, minions and mounts, to name the most important things. Sorry it doesn't interest you, but I see a LOT of people running around Southern Thanalan working on their Daily Quests and trying to move forward with those storylines, so clearly it interests other people.
It isn't content though, new content is new experiences. I've been doing fetch quests since the start of ARR, just because they're repeatable and offer reputation (which doesn't really offer any worthwhile rewards but crafting materials) it's new content?
That's a fetch quest. Go here do X and return. Fetch Quest. Kill, pickup, whatever. It's all bones with no meat to it.
You are so irrational.it is content even if you wont admit it.im done w you.not worth the headache.
