When can we expect the first PvP content?

At launch/soon after? near future? very distant future?

looking forward to a lot of the things that should be shaking the game up a bit; that said, wondering how much we're going to see within the first month of 2.0 launch.

I'll take a guess with.... At launch. It's interesting they just added coliseum gear. While it might just be for vanity it could also serve a purpose in game for PvP. It certainly would level the playing field for players to be able to compete.

I'd like it if PvP was focused on being completely skill based.

Hopefully never...but I'll say it'll be in by the first major patch of 2.0.

No, in the case of PvP, it really does matter. Skills being adjusted to be balanced in PvP more often then not kills them for PvE.

they cant segregate pvp and pve skills?

skills can be adjusted so they're only changed in pvp so as to not interfere with pve.

Yoshida has actually played other MMOs and said many times that he really loves PvP. I think we can put a little faith in him to make sure it's a good experience.

Paladin has been added since him, and that Job is still in need of proper balancing.

Also, what does playing other MMOs have to do with anything? He had his team play World of Warcraft, which is the best proof that you can't balance PvP and PvE skills.
