While the ones before (A9-11) seem challenging while doable the amount of raid damage that goes out along with tank busters and vulnerability stacks make A12N a severe pain for healers.
Anyone else find it is a bit over tuned for a story mode raid?
Edit: For clarity, my point is it's a normal, mode story duty. It's not hardcore content, and shouldn't have hardcore damage numbers and mechanics. SE should want players to complete it and be able to see the story, not bang their heads against a boss. I'm not saying severe nerfs, I'm simply saying in the scheme of A9,10,11, and 12, A12N seems quite a step up from the others. Even A11N IMO had less consistent raidwide damage that had to be healed.

No god dammit, it's perfectly fine. People said the same about A8 upon release. This community is always worried about non savage content tuning when it's usually the player's fault.

I sort of agree.
A12 demands competence in both of your healers, preferably at least one of them being a Diurnal AST or WHM, as there's a lot of constant raidwide damage that has to be healed through. I had a queue with 2SCH and they were struggling harder than they should have through it.
I say the Preys should hit 30% less hard or so, as right now on my MCH getting hit by a prey means I'll die to the next Mega Holy if I don't get healed, which has happened a LOT.

Nah, not particularly. The raid damage is high, yes, but the same is true for the other fights in Creator, especially A11. A11's final phase is a mechanics dance and an intense healer check, and if you're a doofus like me you're bound to get stuck on the hidey things, especially when they're close together (that's how I caused a wipe while teaching a FC member how to do this fight).
A12 is intense in the way that mechanics need to be learnt, but even then. Before the adds phase, if a tank gets hit with dmg down and vuln up, it should have around 20 seconds left on the timer when the adds come up - healable, even on the main tank that gets tankbusted by Prime. Almost Holy is another healer check and the very reason I stay planted smack dab in the middle of the arena so my Helios can reach as many people taking on the adds as possible, and I usually Synastry that, maybe Lightspeed it if things get hairy.
The rest of the fight is a timestop dance and relies on the party even just vaguely knowing what to do, it lessens the incoming damage. It's just a matter of focusing.
And I actually welcome it being kind of a skill check, it's absolutely fun to learn how to dance around everything. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea, and that's fair, but that's how the devs chose to tune the fight in the end. Not even the Manipulator was severely adjusted since it came out in Gordias Story Mode, and I nearly had a heart attack the other day when I was helping the same friend get their Gordias/Midas clears; my co-healer got dangerously close to me with their stacks while I was comfortably parked in a way that I would reach the main tank and the rest of the party. -

Sch especially shouldn't have issues between lustrate for prey and Indom for raid AOE, since no mega holy is within 30 seconds for each other. If they are doing poorly aoe healing, assign one to be the emergency tactics succor only scholar, instead of raw succor during AOEQuote:

I remember when Alexander 1 normal was new and I went in for the first time. I thought the damage was insaaaane. Turns out a fairy could solo heal it.

No dont change it. A lot of ppl have been asking for that middle ground between easy content and difficult content (savage). This for me is there. Im just an average player, dont do savage, normally play a healer and was able to beat it on my 4th try (ilevel 236) all in different groups in DF.
It hasnt been 1 week yet since release... Give it time, gear up some more. If community sees that after 3-4 weeks a lot of ppl are having difficulty then maybe ask for it.
For me it is fine as it is. -

I found a12 pretty easy on WHM and that's was with 2 of the dps constantly dieing to mechs, it never felt like it was close to a wipe if anything its the easiest of the 4 fights.
