Majority is busy either playing the game or playing other games while they wait for Early Access or Dawntrail to drop. Majority is generally quiet and pleasant to interact with IMO.
na, its people who understand more about how the game works, watching many of you complain so hard about this is kind of funny.
the game is balanced around raids, and end gme content, dungeons could, for the most part, can be cleared by most comps of jobs. Its all about the skill of the players.
There is no skill around pressing bloodwhetting every 25 seconds and becoming an immortal god
And let’s ignore dungeons for a second. Damage profiles in savage and ultimate are a mess as well to the point I’m spending 73% of my casts in TOP pressing broil as the SHIELD healer. Aren’t people constantly saying shield healer is the most stressful role in high end content. I don’t even know why I’m called the shield healer when I barely have 1/5th of the total raids mitigation
Healers are redundant in casual content and glorified glare bots in high end content. There is no content where healers are well designed
I think Bloodwhetting does need to be nerfed in AOE situations, but I don't think they should completely get rid of its AOE capabilities -- getting showered in health is part of WAR's appeal. What they could do is make it so that you only get the heal effect from one GCD, and the cure potency changes depending on if you use a singe target or AOE weapon skill. It could be like 800 potency from a single target weapon skill, and like 100-200 potency using an AOE weapon skill. This way, it remains strong in single target fights, and doesn't scale as extremely as it does currently in AOE situations.
theres a reason why Kardia isn't a direct conversion of damage to healing so I don't know why WAR has it.
Imagine if kardia actually healed 170 potency per enemy hit in AOE, the tanks would have nothing to do because they’d be healed faster than they take damage
Would they enjoy just being a glorified hate director while the healer is completely dictating the encounter
Agreed that BW should be single heal not for every enemy hit. Alot of high end players saying it is their identity but they dont even AoE in extremes, savages or ultimates so they have no leg to stand on. All warrior mains want to have their cake and eat it too, nerf warriors or share your cake with other tanks like paladins holy circle let it heal off each enemy hit. And don't even hit me with that homogeneous bull, considering "its only a dungeon, its casual content." Doesn't effect anyone doing end game stuff.
Casual players matter too!
I miss the class balance in Shadowbringer. When tanks are needed, when death comes without healers, when with a bad healer or tank you can fall into a duty. In "Endwalker" it is already possible to pass content without healer or a tank, it was a big disappointment. I don't understand why they decided to make the problem worse. Obviously, Yoshida-san wants us to play Zelda, Elden Ring, just not final fantasy.
Just gonna leave this Xeno and Kaiyoko tweet here for people to decide for themselves.

The streamers are not supporting this thread's perspective. Instead, they are creating content based on it. You can find many similar tweets, with nearly everyone behaving the same way.
P1 normal is basically a dungeon boss lol, it takes little to no skill to beat it solo with Warrior.
This game isn't balanced around dungeons, the most basic casual battle content in the game. It is balanced around the tougher raids: Ultimate, Savage, Extreme fights. You've been able to cheese dungeons like this for a loooong time and just because strummer beat it in the media tour without a healer doesn't change anything.
Its not surprising, a large group of people are of the mindset that "its that way now so its fine that its still that way forever"
Basically every streamer I've seen of this game kinda exists in this bubble where calling out the game's problems is absolute sacrilege, which also makes sense as their livelihoods are basically interlinked with this game as a whole so its easier to act like there are no problems.
Might as well roll out the clickbait while you can as well.
But that aside, the entire Healerstrike is a very odd situation, I don't think the issue is non existent, but the strike itself is very disjointed and is being headed by people who do not partake in this game's higher end content which is a bad look.
And when the ramped up healing difficulty in the high end content, the PF healer drought was unbearable in abyssos, anyone who thinks that tier wasn't the hardest for healers over any role is kidding themselves. So we're in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.
That said, Healers are boring as shit in this game, and I think the game does a miserable job of actually even teaching healers how to heal for high end content, so when you go into high content with a healer its probably the biggest difficulty spike this game has to offer.
I don't think the Healer Strike has been all that effective in properly identifying the problem, but anyone acting like there isn't a design flaw with healers and the trinity right now is really dense.
To me the issue is going to stem from the fact this game doesn't teach you shit how to play it, so instead the devs focus on making the normal content play itself. I view it as a content issue first and foremost.
The fact that none of the content creators will outright come out and say “the strike is wrong because i like the current design of healers” is pretty much all the evidence I need
Nobody actually thinks healers are well designed, which is why people who don’t like the strike attack around the edges- oh Gemina doesn’t do savage. Then the argument pivots to think of the casuals when the savage people come in and then it’s “oh all roles aren’t needed in dungeons when they know it’s because it’s optimal to drop the healer
Nobody will engage with the substance of the our arguments because everyone agrees healers are crap, it’s just most don’t care
Even if the Strike is bit click-bait-ey as long as it gets enough attention to bring all the problems with the current healer design up, it's done its job.
I don't know how the people responsible for the Job design can still think after all these years that pressing same button for majority of a fight is good design. The leveling experience on them is simply atrocious compared to any other role too aside from queue times.
the streamers who don't play healers and only care about creating content for their viewers who have tiny attention spans don't care and are only using this to drum up interest and become a topic for entertainment for people who probably even ever entered a savage or ultimate instance. I am shocked.
I find it funny that some people are trying to justify how the first dungeon or whatever should be easy for the "average player" as if we weren't at lv 100 already...
As a >casual< player, i find it very frustrating that the more i level up, the easier content feels, specially as a healer, the higher the level the less i heal, I absolutely loved SHB first dungeon because of the difficulty spike, i had to use everything i had to keep the tank alive. It's so weird to me that we are forgetting the fact that, at this point of the game (lv 100), they're trying to force every single player into super easy brain dead content because of "average" players, as if the average player doesn't have the ability to >learn< how to heal harder content?
it's not like we're asking them to make sastasha easier because the lv 15 new player who has 2 healing spells is struggling...
I'm not much of a casual player unless its PvP but I can see both sides of teh arguments, but everyoen keeps forgetting. That was a media TOUR build he played so it most likely got nerfed in early access
