Except this isn't WoW. I have no idea what it took to make the glam system or what its comprised of. Also does any of WoW's armor look anything like the Far Eastern Matriarch dress? Or the Far Eastern schoolboy outfit? If so, how good is the quality? Can absolutely ANYONE wear them? Last i checked WoWs armor is more like the dungeon armor worn in FFXIV's base game, which was made to be unisex.
Speaking of unisex, that's how Noctis outfit was remade in FFXIV. It was designed with all races and genders in mind. The same cannot be said with Snow's clothes, which was made specifically for men (with a female equivalent). As Viera, would you want to wear Kyrie's hood to have your ears stick out? Have you seen how the jacket stretches out with taller races like Roe, Viera, and Elezen? ...unless you're fine with shoddy work and as long as "its available." I would want the FFXIV to make the best items they can design. But its not always 100% unisex. And that's fine
Speak for yourself. I'm sure Yoshi P is tired from frequent "i want that too" requests
I think some of us are confused why you're so heavily against unrestricted clothes, like it would honestly bother you any.
This game has so many people who love to play dress up. More options are more options.
It just seems like from this post, and excuse me if I am wrong here, but you don't wish for other people to have so and so clothes
because you want people to stay unique. Well, wouldn't less restrictions make more people look different? The males are about
to wear the wedding dress. So they seem to slowly trying to break a cycle here. It might take less time to alter current outfits
into any body than it is to make a brand new one anyway.
*If SE could be asked to make gear look better, and not rehashed and boring or ugly more people would
be happy with the different types of outfits you could wear, but they don't. Just because you don't think
something looks good on others doesn't mean it does for someone else.
*(I want to mention that they have been asked! We've been asking for a variety of healer gear for years...
He pretty much said no...FeelsBadMan!)
There's nothing wrong with more things in the playpen to play with.
There's honestly no reason why this should be an argument and there
is no harm for asking for things in the game. So again, not sure why people
are against it. I'll just agree to disagree at this case.
I think a lot of people are confused by my position. To be perfectly honest, I'm not against unisex items. The team already did a decent job of that within the game itself. But what I'm saying is that there's no harm in having gender exclusive glam (even better if it's a gender equivalent) and glam that was meant to be gender exclusive don't need to change. Yes, uniqueness is a factor, but there needs to be a point when presentation matters too. In a game where looking your best is important, some items scale horribly on different bodies or look heavily pixalated. I would assume people want properly designed gear, instead of getting something just because the other has it.
Speaking of the males getting the bridal dress, I thought that was a missed opportunity to make something new for males. Anyone remember this? *spoiler tags don't work :p*

That would've been much better as a male exclusive item, than to awkwardly stretch out the bridal gown. But some people are happy with poor work, so whatev
Remove them?!
Shadowbringers was successfully launched with high praise from critics and players. It would be idiotic for him to be replaced [and could potentially damage FFXIV]. I honestly think a lot of people here are so cozy and safe with this game, you don't truely know what playing in a dumper fire is like...
