They already do understand the situation. But that doesn't mean they would have a Fix for it.
Just because you can think of one, doesn't automatically mean its a good idea, or would actually work. If things were THAT simple, they would be done. There are ALWAYS other Variables in play.

And if you arnt to busy name-calling and have a moment, IS your spot literally not being saved?
Because everytime I get the 2002 error and I have to Relauch the game, my spot gets saved. So this Solution of Yours that you claim is the Crux of your Rage here....is already in Place.

That or somehow on your end your doing something that stops this from happening to you.
Cause again, if I face an error in the queue, I get that "grace Period" and I get my spot back.

I don't accept that answer, why? Because they said nothing about it. They tell us everything else, yet they don't even mention this issue.

This has happened at literally every expansion, it even happened in 1.0 back in the day. Chill out everyone, use some of that patience, you'll get to play the game, don't worry.

And I can tell you from not just personal experience, but more than a dozen FC mates and tons of posts on these forums and Steam forums that people who log back in after a 2002 or 4004 lose their place and get pushed to the back of the line. But again, since that hasn't happened to YOU, everyone it has happened to must be lying, right? While I've been keeping my over all opinion on everything to myself. I have memed abit but I say this as someone who's been unable to play the entire weekend but a few hours on friday. This sucks. The 2002 error to be clear. THAT shit can go to hell. But I'm just waiting in que... not anything I can do about it you know. I WILL remember this when everyone is praising the hell outta EW like the greatest thing since Shadows and HW. But like HW this will forever be a negative like HW will forever be remembered for nearly killing raiding for this game. Never forget.

When you get the error code. Have the game retry to put you back into queue. Not close the game out.


When you dc from game. Add a buffer to get back in the game without a queue


That is it. Them two small changes would make this easier to deal with and less stress for everyone.

Imagine if OP and the people crying in all these threads had the balls to delete their char, quit, and fully unsub. There wouldn't be a queue to worry about then. Don't worry though, canceling FF cancels their own life so all bark and no bite.
