Regarding the Duty World Issues on the NA DC

well, nice for you to be on dead servers :(

I mean, it's never nice to be on a dead server but... I always thought Cerberus was on the low end of EU servers (with Moogle flooded by French, Odin by German, Ragnarok being legacy...) but it seems I was sorely mistaken considering our horrendous queues. I wish I had such low queues as yours

My FC took advantage of the free transfers, and got the hell off that timebomb. none too soon either, it seems. And I'd been on Balmung since it was Besaid in beta 1.0.

Yeah sadly I can't do that. Too many friends and stuff in Cerberus, and the only dead server in EU datacenter is Omega anyway. Omega which is currently dying too because people are unable to log into their own server so they go to the new one to gat a character to level 30 for the free 15 days of sub :D

If I were a conspirationist, I would say SE is deliberately not doing anything about the log in queues to force people to transfer to low population servers. Sadly, this isn't doing anything in EU datacenter :(

This is what they get for taking so long to lock off transfers, and we as the playerbase have to suffer. :(

Everyone is already allowed 15 days of free playtime which as far as I know is an unprecedented offer. Is that not enough?

ugh come on. Those 15 days have *nothing* to do with the problems at hand. If you want to defend SE on that issue, try at least to have reasonnable arguments. Because SE's stance on the matter is "please leave all your friends and transfer".

Which, and I know this is going to sound rude and unsympathetic, is the only way we're going to be able to fix this mess. SE clearly will not. Their fix is to get people off the server and they're gonna stand by that. My reckoning is if that fails to get people off they'll just pull a supposed XI Odin and literally cleave the server in 2 and split the playerbase (possibly even moving one of the split servers to the other NA datacentre so you can't even cross-realm). As well as keeping both realms locked down tight for like 5 years so you can't simply transfer back over or create a new character there.

did they mention anything regarding you there? last time I checked and understood English, they were saying and I quote; "throwing a 3 day tantrum wasn't worth my time and energy." No where does it say "Your".
