Hmm, I see names like Ridill and Excalibur there. I'm hoping these might be new server names. I was actually going to suggest using weapons for new names :D

Edit: Google translate suggests that they are potential new names. Very happy about this!

You pulled my comment out of context. The guy before me said that it was the European players, who were the cause for the ridiculous option 4 merger and I redirected that towards Yoshi. Which is true... Yoshi decided for option 4. And option 4 would have screwed over a lot of people, so Yoshi P would have screwed over a lot of people. That's not farfetched at all.

I did not call him a monster or think he's evil or even think that he's out to get the community. That was really farfetched of you. That's your imagination running wild.

This one is regarding crafting - Siho asking HQ for Cobalt Preserve [RD] recipe the red color dye is included with original recipe unlike others which have 1st craft then dye. Foxclon says for all the color dye they are NQ and no HQ is available BUT the color dye wont affect the quality of the materials/craft so as long as you have other materials all HQ you can start from 500 (around 480) Also says for HQ crafting you don't have to have everything HQ so don't worry about that.

染料（カララント）はNQのみとなります。ただし、カララントが目標品質度にあたえる影響はほとんどなく、他の素材を全てHQで揃えれば、目標品質度の初期値は500近く（480くらい）になるように調整される予定です。

全ての素材にHQを使用しないと完成品がHQにならない、ということはありませんのでご安心ください。

This one is about caravan quest - Gridania seems to be getting more CS reward than Limsa/Uldah and players said it's not fair and wants the reason behind this (they get 10 more CS...WOW!...　＼(°o°；）/ )

First off Triairy responds to that one saying the NPC explains it and says something will make sure you get some more reward since there are bandits and you may get lost. So that's why they get the extra 10!! + where you obtain the Caravan quest and starting point is farther out compared to other locations.

but Triairy also mentions caravan quests will also get modified when the planned Hamlet Defense is released in game.

確かに、グリダニアの高レベル向けキャラバン護衛の基準値は他のカンパニーよりも多くなっています。これについては、キャラバン護衛の受付NPC「エジ・ブルネル牙曹長」が以下のように説明しています。

And whole bunch of YoshiP post yesterday since he went on posting spree and wanted give as much support to players to keep them calm regarding the server merge on the JP side of the forums... most of the responses in there are just repeat of what he posted + from original server merge information posted on the topics which was missed to mention on YoshiP's post, but these should get fixed and the new updated details with yesterdays YoshiP's long post should get posted.

As for the server names he's not planning to add Japanese related legendary weapons orz... I wanted Masamune (or Excalibur) I'm reading through them again to see if any other bits of info should be mentioned, but overall it's just repeat since some players don't know how to read thoroughly before posting negative feedbacks...

The items wont be different they will retain the same item name (excluding few) and the effect of the items will be changed.

With current system it's not possible to display the remaining time and we apologize for the inconvenience however we are planning to make this possible in 2.0

There will be items that will increase crafting and gathering status up.

Reinheart... I hate to derail your thread and post something that is not a translation... I really do...
But as the only person I know who is fluent in both English and Japanese...

When SE releases updates and Dev posts in Japanese... Is it as confusing and easy to misinterpret as their English counterparts?
I swear every Yoshi P post has more different interpretations than the Bible.
I just want to know if the Japanese shares this vague subtext

For Example:
The sky is Blue.

But if SE said it... They would say:
The Sky appears to be Blue-ish right now

Someone would interpret that to mean the sky isn't blue, it just appears that way
And then someone else would infer that "right now" implies that the sky is not always blue
Yet another person would say that "Blue-ish" means it's not blue but something similar
Someone would flame that person, noting that Blue-ish is indeed a shade of blue
And mixed between all of these posts would be the dumbest GIFs and JPGs of Captain Picard or some cartoon character or someone from "My Name is Earl" followed by posters calling them idiots... followed by people asking if we need yet another thread on the color of the sky

More like the server is dead... I go limsa and there is NO ONE by the NPC same for Gridania, and Ulda there are 2 PC's next to the NPC but they are AFK there selling the chocolate. Been getting chocolates getting my wifes character into the party u just need to get 20 points and get the best couple thingy to get the achievement?

What exactly do you mean by this? I might be recalling incorrectly but I believe both Masamune & Excalibur where in English FF games. If you mean in real life Masamune has Japanese history so I understand that but Excalibur is Great Britain related...

Excalibur will probably be used for sever name but he didn't want like Yoichi or Genji or Masamune for the server name, lemme dig that post up... reason why I put Japanese related legendary weapons :)

I'd really like to know if Yoshida is aware that the NPC venders in the roman character clients lack a description of what type of shop or guild they are. The Japanese version includes the Kanji before each name. Everyone else just see's the name and no icon, abbreviation , or word to help players understand that NPCs purpose.

By the way Reinhardt, you can profess a bond of true love to anyone for the achievement, regardless of which race Ophelia is searching for...I hope you got it in time.

Just click the blue icon to the left of the thread name and it should bring you to the last unread post; newcomers can just click "last page" and start from there, people wanting to find specific translations can see reinhart's links on the initial posts of this thread.

Believe me, there are plenty of people out there that already favorited, subscribed and left a browser tab auto updating this thread every 5 minutes ;)
