So it was a good day at work, and we went out for a couple of drinks after. When I got home, I popped in for a run or two, and saw my Lore count. Reset day, "Hey, a Duty roulette ex will get me a piece today!".
Hopped in and had a pretty amazing run of antitower, the last boss died quicker than I had ever seen, I actually wasn't watching the health bar, and when Calca died, is was all "Wait, what!?"
Got out and checked my Lore, before telly to iddleshire.
"Wait, why is it only 335? was I actually at two something?"
Scroll back through chat to see my reward, no Lore.
"Oh wait, its monday, not tuesday..."

Been doing Thordan Ex farm for quite some time.. probably 150 over runs, and yes there are the fair share of people who make mistakes, but I normally give them the benefit of doubt unless they repeatedly do it as if they didnt learn anything from the previous death.
Rarely meet snarky idiots until today, or at least didnt see this person make a snarky comment before because I remember seeing this person around =) So.. this person dies multiple times, but the other 7 of us did well.. 1st wipe was due to p9 (or was it p8)'s Ser Zephirin's swipe causing us to die (not enough dps on him, that 8th guy was dead and dead dps is no dps).
We start off 2nd round, and this guy continues to blunder at the easiest of mechanics (for people of farm calibre at least, no offense to the learning people out there). He died twice even before p3. I did a emote on him but IMO perfectly nothing to get all rude about because in all seriousness, pretty sure everyone "failed to understand" that kind of mistakes.

I was laughing because I wanted to say "college*" , but i'd prefer to concentrate on the fight. The other healer (I was whm) prolly got pissed too and didnt rezz him at all. Managed to clear it with 7man thx to Echo buff.
Edit: sorry forgot to censor the other guys' name on the first line but it wasnt him, he's just some other member in the party.

I was in cutter's cry and people kept wiping. we got to the last boss and healer and DRG died early in. I'm BLM so I was healing/DPSing and we did it easy. Everyone said "Thanks it was all thanks to you" etc. But no commendations. >8C Kind of upset but oh well.

I think I was my own horror story the other day. I went into leveling roulette on Dragoon hoping for a pre-50 dungeon but got the Aery. So I'm not the best dragoon (or even close) and I am still getting used to the post 50 rotation with Dragon's Blood and Fang and Claw and how they work together. So my dps is not the best. That being said, I was still pulling aggro throughout the dungeon, even with elusive jump. But it was mostly fine until we got the final boss, and wiped the first time because the adds weren't killed fast enough. On the second try, we got it but the tank didn't step into the bubble and died, and then Nidhogg was on everyone and we all died. The other dps dropped, the healer called out the tank on not getting in the bubble, the tank dropped, and then the healer left too. Luckily the party filled back in and we killed Nidhogg easily. But I learned my lesson and won't hit any dungeons until I feel more confident that I'm not being carried.

All mobs grouped up, we nuke 'em all. Tank says "it's your own fault if you attack during a pull". I reply with "It was. I never said anything" meaning I didn't blame the tank. Next second I get vote kicked. Dafuq?! O_o"

Best WoD run ever this week for me :D

Ravana Ex on DF.
I'm put with a group that's entirely pre-made bar one DPS, all from the same FC. The first few attempts aren't too bad and we make it to Final Lib, but it goes downhill from there. The MT's chaotic positioning results in Ravana wiping out the entire party before we even get to the add phase several times, but when I point this out, the entire group immediately leaps to the MT's defence and says it's all my fault, I'm a terrible healer, the AST is practically solo healing, I'm holding them back, etc. etc. Said AST has the reaction time of a drunken snail and their MP bar is usually full while I'm trying to keep everyone alive, but I let it go and ask to be kicked so I can go find another group. Being the mature adults they are, they refuse.
We give it another go and make it to Final Lib again, but the group messes up on prey mechanics (again.) They declare that this is also my fault, I'm the worst healer they've ever had, I'm being carried, blah blah blah, but still won't kick me. At this point I called their bluff and offered to sit out this time and let them fight Ravana without my "interference", since I'm obviously such a dreadful healer and ruining their chances. They try to goad me into healing again with more insults, but I point out that according to them, they'd be more successful without me and refuse. After another ten minutes, they finally give up and try again while I stand on the side. They ended up wiping after twenty seconds.
The group reset, and I apologised heartily for holding them back from their true potential all this time. They all left. -

I've been solo tanking and DRG the hell out of Rav EX a lot lately xD When I tank I always put a bright mark over my head, and said " Find me on the other side of Rav after stack and bring me those preys" before the first pull. The error I could think of is the MT of the party you were in was trying to rotate and hit Rav without getting the slow debuff, I tried it once but not recommend of doing it because it hinder physical damage dps on Seeing X mechanic. Did an EX roulette in Amdapor Hard with a Warrior tank that seemed oddly squishier than usual. I didn't think much of it until near the end of the dungeon where I decided to check out his glamour for whatever reason. Turns out he wasn't wearing any pants. Apparently the Monk noticed much earlier but decided to not say anything and roll with it, thinking it was intentional. Once he realized that, he said he was going to glamour but forgot. Him being a Lalafell made it impossible to notice visually.
Laughs were had, he put on his pants, and then we wrecked the boss. -

Me and the BF did our Leveling roulette, got Sunken Temple normal. Yawwwwwn, but whatever. Party comp is WAR, AST (green leaf), me/BRD, and BRD (mentor crown). We start the dungeon, nobody says anything in party chat, which is fine because, y'know, Sunken Temple. Only strange thing I notice right away is that the other BRD AoE/Quick Nocks EVERY mob (the first one, for example, he was AoE'ing until pretty much zero TP). I don't say anything because it doesn't really matter, and I've got double dotting down enough to the point that I don't care. Just found it interesting, considering bard AoEs are mediocre, and at level 33ish, even worse. We get to the mob before the first boss, me and my BF are in TS. He asks for TP song, I tell him I don't have it. I mention that I don't think I ever saw the AST draw any cards.
BF asks jokingly, "WTB Spire." It seems this causes the AST to remember they have cards, and they draw (Bole, go figure.) BF makes another joke/helping attempt, "That's Bole. I need Spire. Cheat please." AST just lol's and we go into first boss fine.
Going to last boss, we have no problems, except if you would consider the other BRD's AoE urges a problem. Hey, their DPS loss. I die once trying to proc the Crocodile's tail swipe (#Lag), but whatevs.
The final boss door opens up, AST types in chat "BRB". BF says something like, "can't wait 1 and half minutes?" AST says "been holding it in sorry" after a VERY long delay. Long enough that we both thought he had done his business and gotten back. BF takes it as his que to pull, we both notice the AST not moving (nor the BRD), so we run out to reset boss. Unfortunately the AST went while inside the boss room, so he was a fatality.
BF makes a comment about how long it took AST to type that, and that he thought that was his que to pull. AST finally comes back, again says he's been having to go the entire time, and says "kick me".
I say, "seriously? c'mon. if you really have to go, then eat the penalty. not gonna waste a kick on that." (I had assumed maybe he had plans, didn't realize he had to take a piss or something.) Suddenly, BRD jumps in who was quiet the entire time. He goes on to call me and BF elitist jerks, and that my BF's tanking was awful, and that somebody must've carried him through A4S (as his Axe is glamoured into the A4S Axe).
Me and the BF have a chuckle, BF informs the BRD that we just carried 4 new people through A4S earlier. BRD makes a comment along the lines of, "OT for Gordias: damage damage damage." BF informs him that BRD must obviously not know the fights (A3S and A4S), and that he tanks the first and third leg, swaps forth, etc. I chime in that there's no reason to be white knighting or to be starting a fight, in regards to the BRD. BRD goes on to insult BF's tanking again. BRD says he's gaining threat while in shitty gear, even more so than me (as I had been piping up here and there). I say, "of course you're going to generate aggro. You're aoeing on mobs with only three enemies. gg." BF informs him that he's been out of tank stance the entire time. This whole time I'm not really bothering and still out DPSing him, mind you, while both of us are typing. BRD is also refusing to do mechanics, so that's a thing.
We kill it. BF is annoyed a bit at this point, so he leaves right away. I say, "thanks for starting a fight, bard. luv you." As I'm clicking the portal to leave, BRD types out, "and you are elitist dime a dozen df assholes, sorry you had to deal with that, healer. you did great." -
