It's more or less this. Some of the implementations need to work with the base foundation of the game, but that foundation is severely lacking when you look at the expansion. Diadem in all honesty would have been decent if it did anything resembeling an FC-activity and exploration, rather than farming on islands mindlessly. Everything in this expansion feels underutilized, and that underutilized comes from not making a good ground work to build upon (both combat and non-combat).
