Also, just look at this. When you read it with A at the top, seeing as most places in the world read top to bottom(yeah, left to right / right to left, but top lines then going down etc), it'd read as ABC, but with B at the top, it'd read BAC. You have to remember, it's not setup in a straight line, they setup the fights in a triangle for parties.

I do not think the game has any need for a ranking system the likes of which OP describes. I do however believe that the toxic culture that permeates the yank servers really needs to change, especially in the elitist cliques.

Yes please. I'll gladly take longer queues if it means I only get matched with other S ranks. A higher chance to get good dps players might even convince me to queue as tank again.

All I can remember for sure is that the people that throw the party markers out always screwed up where they should be. For pretty much everything else (even Amon and the Dullahan) alliance placement is pretty arbitrary for mechanics. The same goes for mechanics; one singularity stone goes back, one goes left for Oozma. You could do it a few other ways, but that's the way it's done on my data center.Quote:

Which sounds more fun to you? Getting into a party full of i220-i240 geared people, but you're the only one who's actually doing the basic rotation to do average damage, so the party can't do dps checks or rage timers so you wipe for an hour+ then the party disbands, or getting into a party of i220-i240 geared people and everyone is at least doing the basic rotation so you can complete dps checks and rage timers and rarely, if at all, wipe?
People these days forget that a mmo is about cooperation and teamwork. If you're dead weight and not contributing at all, then yeah, theres every right to kick if you won't take the advice and improve some(again, nothing against new people, thats fine, it's just the bads and terribles who refuse to put in effort). Who else here remembers older mmos, specifically pre-WoW, when people actually gave it their all when in a party so they could actually complete content? I sure do. I also remember that when you told someone how they can improve since they're not doing well, they didn't whine and cry, call people elitists and report people, they took that advice and improved and it made the community and playerbase better overall.
