They are quite a lot of infos about the game and its just gonna smash the competition. Yoshi P is even afraid of it ;)Quote:
Everquest Next has very little information on it for people to care.
Considering EQ 1 and 2 just defined the mmo genre thats very doubtful, lol. In EQN a "fate" can take a month in real time.Quote:
it might not offer as much as other games
That would also involve completely remaking Black Mage since it's entire kit is about waxing and waning of Fire and Ice. You also didn't solve anything and just made the current system but with a different skin. If everyone can do it, then what is the point? It also gimps classes if they don't have the certain gear/skill and makes everything balanced around the elemental instead of skill.
I see them leaving to try the next "wannabe" newest thing, but I don't see them staying. ESO is a *lot* more boring than FFXIV is ;) Pretty much all MMO are all exactly the same these days. The only difference these days is the "fantasy world" you choose to live in. I honestly think ESO is going to be more on par with SWTOR than what it wants to be in WoW.
Whether its Final Fantasy, Star Wars, Elder Scrolls, Dungeons and Dragons, Wizardry, Ultima, Lord of the Rings, Warcraft, Everquest, Guild Wars or any other host of IPs... They are all essentially the same game, barring UI and combat differences. They are all sci-fi/fantasy theme parks with usable abilities. They all have some sort of PvPish type thing going on. They pretty much all have the same type of boring quests/sidequests. They all have stories (though some *are* better than others). You just have to pick the setting which you live in. :)
i'm a hardcore player but i got a lot patience, my goal is very clear i still enjoy this game and iknow more is coming and im looking forward for that.
or casuals can meant players who devotes most of their time to real-life responsibilities and are only able to game for a small number of hours a week.
I'd say I'm a casual and I have FF14 on auto-renewal, the monthly subscription isn't significant enough for me to actively unsubscribe and re-subscribe whenever i feel like or don't feel like playing, I just keep it subscribed perpetually and I don't have plans in the near future to stop subscribing.
On the other-hand, I don't have the time to devote to multiple MMOs, as such I tend not to switch around whenever a new game is out.
I'd like to see more non-combat based content though, alot of times I log in just to hang around and enjoy Eorzea and having non-combat content would perhaps rinforce the immersion of "living" in the world of Eorzea and partaking in activities the ordinary folks do.
You mean the game that looks like a Disney production? or perhaps an Avatar crossover?
