Nah! I'll admit I am prone to initial overreaction. You got me there. Who knows, it might be great. It might open up more possibilities and utility. Not planning on re rolling as my inner intelligent person realizes this is a living game and will evolve and change overtime. So my advice to myself and every other bard....if they change something about your abilities and you still like the game, how about finding a way to do the best at what you have. Make your job awesome! Own your abilities and view it as just another challenege to overcome. If a woman with no hands can function with her feets as if she had hands and raise two kids....then WE bards can adapt to some class tweaks.Quote:

and yeah...if I do nothing but hold groups back after the "adjustment" yeah I MIGHT consider switching classes. Is it just me or does no one but BRD's really like BRD's? I personally think every class has it's place. Why all the hate? I'm probably askign for trouble here but you know what they say about curiosity.

Also, they problably feel that unless the group needs Mage's Ballad BRD isn't viable job to take with them unless they have no other choice.Quote:

Yes, I'm lucky to have people to run dungeons with now, and have WHM up (and soon WAR), but my time shouting was not fun. And there are tons of people out there that rely on PUGs to run dungeons.
No, I don't hate BRD just for being BRD, I mean, you really do need 1 for most 8-mans, but except for Turn 2 (for Silence) 2 BRD just isn't necessary; I'd rather have 2 melee (DRG), a BRD, and a SMN/BLM...heck, that's our 'normal' static (BLM/SMN depending on who wants to heal). However, I do dislike FoTM BRD who blame everyone else for their nerfs. Kinda like how I dislike a lot of PAL because they don't want to share tanking with WAR. -

Why can't we be friends ♫ Welp I know we always have DRG's or MNK's in party. Awesome LB ftw! My DPS pales in comparison to BLM and DRG tbh so we work best with a little bit of everything really.
i've got an awesome static group and FC so I hope whatever SE does, I can still help my raid party and members out like I do now. I'm not in this to be the best DPS or shove any other DPS out of the picture. I just want to help and actually be useful. I really do appreciate how difficult it is to play melee in this game. But not everyone will be happy and you have to roll with the punches I suppose. -

Maybe be true caster cant make a dps like urs, i would chance a 2 drg for a caster with like -20dps to have more virus and eye for an eye, plus a better aoe, and that's the problem of the game.
If u see the fc that does all turn with one tank, u will see they don't use any meele dps, because they prefer to rotate for longer period of time dmg reductions.
