Yeah, it's absolutely a solution. Balmung is a mega server. That means there are going to be queues, often lengthy ones, when new content comes out. They'll die down after a bit. If you can't stand that, then leave the server. They basically pay you to leave if you choose an appropriate destination realm.
That not true, one of them smaller server, MY SERVER is now over packed Gobiln, use to be in the bottom 3 for the NA servers.. Now it's not, to many players and it hard to get crap done, me and many other picked small server to have a free open world with no trolling and a welcome commuty. But with the 100% Xp boost and the free hoping it has fucked up our server.
On Goblin? I just moved to Coeurl and have had 0 problems other than the DDoS attacks and, as of the May unofficial census, Goblin had about 1000 less active players than Coeurl. There are also reports in this very thread of no extensive login issues from Excalibur which had about 7k more active players in the May census. I find it very difficult to believe that 7k+ players have transferred to Goblin in the past 5 days.
Sure I could be wrong but it seems rather unlikely with the information available to me.
Maximum amount of gil that can be transferred increased to 999,999,999

Why corpse digging this 5 year old thread? It was relevant back, during the lost era of when SB got released and suffered the influx of people wanting the new content and clogging the loging queues,, not unsimilar to the threads about the same topic for ShB and of more recent memory EW.
06-19-2017 why did you go through 100+ threads to find this
To be fair to the person, I often go back hundreds of pages and read old posts to remember what it was like back then. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to necro some to show people who started more recently how certain issues they're complaining about are the result of changes to even larger issues made "Way Back When". Refreshing collective memory can be fascinating to observe and see how discussions differ in the current period.
So basically stormblood was 4 years ago and the game is still plagued by huge queues…
