Expansions come with new mob types. Those mob types are usually rehashed until the next expansion, aside from unique looking bosses. So, guess whether the same applies there.

But I must say, a generic "more could have been done" is an excellent criticism. You don't even have to specify, you can just go ahead and bitch, regardless of what is said and done.

Well if a skeleton crew can produce so much content, imagine how much a fully-fleshed crew could produce. I think quantity of staff has a lot to do with production-rate and also the expansiveness of what is produced. Well, logic dictates.

Also they have been reworking the battle, autoattack and enmity systems.

I think that should answer your question as to "what have they been doing".

(Rome wasn't built in a day, all good things to those that wait, if all else fails wait and come back for re-launch).

I'm not playing at 800x600. But if SE is content to play at whatever resolution we looked at in the video, and think that's fine (mine isn't so bad as that), then there's a problem.

Hi All,

Nice video! :)

Looks like a fun area to explore and adventure in. Teleportation Rings opens the door for different paths and areas. As others have said, looks like potential ambush / traps happening and that one full party wipe (over 8,000 damage to everyone! :)... definitely not a cake walk (great news! :).

Like the New Music and the gorgeous Icons / UI (it looks aesthetically pleasing, distinctive and I can't wait to try out Combat).

For those worried about no new mobs, it makes no sense that they'd give away / show the final boss of this major area in a short preview before anyone's even explored in it.

No matter what, this sure beats going to Camp Broken Water or grinding Raptors every day. (^_~)

I can't wait for 1.18! :)

I am not expecting them to create a new game every patch, but we have been almost a year without much at all. So I do expect something to come out of a year's development. You see my point? There's a difference to saying "you can't have something new every patch" and saying "you can't have something new even once a year". This was their chance to show us they have been putting their best foot forward. Unfortunately their best foot seems a little lame, if you'll pardon the pun.

Hopefully down the line, SE will be able to show-case their effort. Or perhaps it will just be more lackthereof as usual.

No, I am surprised like you, that they didnt clean up their own UI. I have mine situated so it works out nicely.

new content, cutscene, right now was all I wanted to see. Just need to check the difficulty of the dungeon by ourselves to complain or not. The video shows enough (for once) for me to be willing to spend again some time playing the game and that's all I asked for!

This. If that's the "default" arrangement for the UI, then SE needs to take a second look at it. It did look pretty bad, with a lot of elements overlapping each other (the pop-up text for abilities covering the action bar was the most noticeable).

Gift, you seem to question what the dev's are working on. I think its pretty obvious as the developers try to get to the core of what is wrong they are continually finding more problems. Yoshi seems to be confident these next 3 patches will resolve most of the system limitations right from the most basic transaction level interactions.

When they say that cross world party search and linkshell actions are something that will take time because of system limitations they are talking about these issues at the core of the game. Once the core issues are solved patches and fixes should come in at a much faster pace.

I think we will all be pleasantly surprised with 1.18,1.19, and 1.20. And I fully intend to re-invite all my LS mates who have since taken a break from the game this fall. If SE can deliver what was stated in the last few producer letters by the end of summer (or end of sept.) then I think the game will be in a great shape to start prepping for a firm PS3 launch date.

- Yes there will be new gear.. Why would they show off new gear in the Video.. and they showed New Gear that will drop from Dungeons in one of the Lodestone Post ( Check again)
- No, there not new Mobs.. however they have different skin Color like the Eye was all red ( because its really a self-destructing Bomb!), and who's to say there won't be new mobs that they havent shown yet?

I don't mind that they implemented the as-yet-unused area, but I do mind that we have little proof in the way of tight development. I mean, they used lots of preexisting mobs, so what? Big deal, right? What do you really expect? But it is a big deal when there are, like, no new ones either.

In order to add new mobs they would have to design them using the current systems, mechanics, algorithms or w/e. You know all of that is about to change so why are you still going on and on about it???

well it hasnt been a year yet, and they have done lots i think. Looking at the game now, and what it was in open beta (1), lots of fixing has been done.

Just do what i'm doing, leave the game installed but dont log in for 6months, I love the game, and I KNOW that it will be much better come xmas.

And I don't want another rushed launch... (or relaunch for that matter)
I want them to take the time needed to do it right.... Just look at it like a delayed launch and you'll see that they are taking no more time than SWTOR or TERA
Games (Especially MMOs) take YEARS to develop.... This one is still in development... deal with... Stop trying to sabotage the game by rushing the devs
