No intelligent PLD player should expect this to last. The issue is that it happened at all in the first place when they specifically promised balance for the tanks.

Just like they waited 2 years to nerf warrior once it had its numbers up? Doubtful.
This is what every paladin bashing, smug warrior and dark knight needs - a reality check.
If you can't handle playing a "viable" job, then switch.

I won't boycott leveling my tank because if I raid I'll tank, but as a PLD player I certainly won't tank or heal in dungeons roulette until both roles are fixed. So if the goal was the increase DPS queue times, they've succeeded in that.

Well...excluding the first run of dungeons I do during the MSQ. Sorry D=

For statics and PF, yeah WAR players need to eat crow and play whatever is in demand or be excluded. Hopefully they learn their lesson that bad balance is bad for everybody.

Imbalancing the tanks in an even more prominent manner does not provide a reality check. I see nothing wrong with players playing the tanks that are most favored by a given encounter. I do, however, think SE might need a reality check if they're willing to make that a single tank, by a large margin, for a disproportionate number of encounters.

tl;dr: Revenge =/= justice... nor balance.
