I know, I know... But dammit I like DPS to... Yet some will argue that BARD isnt a support job.. =/ But if they were going to make a support job they should have at least kept Rain of Death as it was..

Not sure that I agree with this statement, Foe Requiem for example should be used often if you have some good mages in the party. Also, in longer fights Paeon and occasionally ballad become a requirement pretty much. I think most good bards spend more then 10% of a fight with songs up. I would agree that you spend most of your time using dps abilities but I think the primary role is to provide support as well, I'm sure when the level cap is increased and there are more songs available bard will become even more of a support role.
/facepalm.
/facepalm, everywhere.
"Having trouble sustaining DPS"
"Having trouble sustaining an avg amount of DPS"
Is the same thing.
You are rather defensive for someone having a problem.
maybe you should talk to the DPS forum and see what your doing wrong.

While all true, you're sort of missing the point I intended. Yes, you're going to be DPSing the majority of the time, but the support aspect of BRD is very desirable and makes up for the lower DPS the job does compared to other pure DPS. That's all I really meant by what I said.
You think you KAWAII huh? And yes very defensive about my BARD..

Turn 8 is also the only battle where you should ever need paeon. All other fights have short breaks in between that gives your TP time to recover.
