And you just brought up another case of the transformations people are trying to push. The word "trap"... There's a push to remove it from existence. Even in RPGs, they're trying to remove it. Recently, the FFIV randomizer community decided to remove all instances of that word, and replace them with "MiaB", or Monster in a Box... It's so god damned stupid.

This wouldn't be a conflict of interest, and would only matter if Sena wasn't qualified for the job or was granted the job ahead of someone more qualified due to the friendship. In that case it would be nepotism. Helping your friends get jobs they are qualified for is a perfectly fine thing to do.

You are free to tell them that. I think it is a waste of time but you are free to voice your concern and issues that is not what I am talking about.

My reply was to the person that stated Bridget was not trans. In this moment in time they are 100% trans. The motivate or reason behind the change does not change the fact the developers changed their story and made the character trans.

Sure it seems like BS and screams some weird PR play. That being said I have no way to confirm or deny their intentions behind the action. If I cannot prove otherwise I will take the persons words at face value.

I.just don't see the value in calling someone a liar when I cannot prove them to be so. I can have my suspensions and concerns and I got personally distance myself from them if I so desire. I will not spread unverified claims such as x person is lying. I cannot prove that so i will not speak of it as fact.

As pointed out if they said Bridger was an alien that just wanted to dress up as a nun. Sure it would be dumb ans as fans we could voice that concern but unfortunately we have no ground to deny that they are now an alien. Their game, their rules. Like it or not they are the final authority on the state of characters and the game world. Until stated otherwise Briget is now trans. Q

They were mutuals on twitter for a long time, and have interacted a few times on twitter previously.
There's also just context clues. Sena is an amateur union VA. Basically no one knew who she was prior because everything she voiced prior to FFXIV were small roles in niche media. So why then is she given THE lead role in a new expansion?
All blame is on the voice director and localization lead for it. I really don't blame Sena for anything (ignoring some of her sketchy twitter posts)

Ok, i will make ti clear to you : Arc System Work doesn't own GG licence for years now.
It's Sammy Sega.

They don't have the upper hands on GG anymore, so, basically, some upper ups put this words into his mouth and torld him to forgot what he created.

This is also one of the reason why Arc Sys created BlazBlue.

My opinion is when you retcon something, you are creating a different continuity. I consider this a retcon and thus the current Briget and the original Briget are not the same person. One is a trap and the other is trans. It's like with Dragonball GT, it was considered cannon by Shueisha and Akira Toriyama and they they changed retconned it as if it never happened and continued with Super. You may argue that it was an entire season that got retconned but there has been many smaller retcons in the dragonball series.
