You must be ignoring the English community because I've seen large swatches of complaints that the content isn't fun coupled with a long grind for out dated rewards. I've seen several that just talked about how Eureka just highlights the underlying issues with combat in the game, particularly the open world type mobs who don't have much to them outside auto-attack, an aoe to dodge, and maybe a cast ability to interrupt if you want to.
They also complain about their fingers hurting from the constant button mashing. And that it's an uninspired grind. And that it made them sleepy. And that it's monotonous. And that things take too long.
But in general, their Eureka thread hasn't exactly exploded like it did here. Barely like 12 pages.
I think the failing here is the presentation. The anima weapon was as long a grind as this would be but it was presented as just 12 maps with tasks inside, atma was as long as this and it was just 12 crystals. People see tokens in the hundreds and are turned off by it, when, for all we know, at higher levels, they may have a higher drop rate.
I haven't had a chance to try it, will probably poke at it tonight. I'm not a grinder, so I probably won't get far. The one thing I am seeing so far though is that it looks like I won't have to worry about this for ilvl, so I can skip doing it for my main (AST) and go for it on my RDM, whose outfit I desperately want to be able to dye.
Quick question: are the gear pieces all tied together? I.e., if I wanted to get my AST weapon, would I then be required to restart the whole chain if I then wanted my RDM gear? Can I work on gear before weapons?
