It's not abstaining/neutrality when you seek out a thread about a person to announce you don't care what he's doing because he's insignificant. That's called condescension, and it's vitriol directed at that person and/or his fans; and jealousy is a possible explanation for it.

Abstaining/neutrality would be simply not getting involved.

To add onto this. The entire conversation stemmed from what he would bring to the table/why SE acknowledged him. He *is* something special in SE’e eyes and in a lot of people’s eyes. Just because someone doesn’t see it doesn’t make it any less true. He is a special player because of him having such a large audience and income, and being an influencer.

Vitriol would mean Im being harsh or criticizing him for doing this, when I have done neither. I even said that Im curious how far he will get in the game. When were his fans brought into the conversation? I sure as heck didnt mention them.
My point has been; Asmongold is nothing Special, he is a Gamer. For some reason that simple fact = Jealousy.
