They were never out of stock. Before the promotion started, the domain would redirect to https://gamewithbutterfinger.com/en-us/PostPromo which looked to just be a holding page until the promotion went live. Apparently that's the url that whomever does the lodestone posts snatched up, but when the promotion went live https://gamewithbutterfinger.com no longer redirected and https://gamewithbutterfinger.com/en-us/PostPromo was changed to a page stating the promotion is over. Anyone clicking through the lodestone announcement is now going to the incorrect url.

Edit: The PostPromo url appears to have been made functional at this point.

We're still waiting for the Black Fat Chocobo mount to be made available to European players. It's the silence on the subject that bothers me more than the lack of an equivalent promotion over here. This is exactly the sort of issue that our community representatives should be weighing in on as far as I see it. If the mounts will be available later on the Mog Station or through a different promotion then it'd be great to get a definitive answer.

I submitted mine within minutes after the promo went live. No email.

That's something at least. I'm still concerned about the limited quantity in general tho, especially with this dumb waiting period for the receipts.

I really don't get the invest for them unless Ferrero or Amazon pay an oddly high amount for a promotion that likely won't interest most of their cliental. Every time they've done a promotion, it's done nothing but general a massive amount of backlash. Then again, SE has been rather daft lately. *Looks over to Yuffie DLC being PS5 exclusive*

Someone posted on reddit that they had made a purchase yesterday and received their code after submitting today. Butterfinger has also expressed that they're trying to have the company working the promotion for them expand the dates a bit wider to accommodate people that may have bought early.

Same with me. I submitted mine a few minutes after 12PM EST and I only ever got an e-mail saying "Thanks for registering! We'll send another email when we review your receipt submission."

guys/gals remember the rules and regs page says it can take up to 3-5 DAYS. the people that got theirs early probably just lucked out.

Mine better not be rejected! I haven't even gotten a confirmation email yet. I doubt this offer will stay in stock for the full period, being limited. I've heard it's so limited due to the inflated retail value of this mount.

My Amazon order for a mixed minis bag (About $10) was approved at about 3 am pdt and I had submitted it a few minutes after the promo started. If anyone else wants to go this route, just go to your orders page after your purchase, click view invoice for that particular order, size up the window and take a screenshot.

I agree that it's insane, but...you'd be amazed what people will pay for pixels. Or the promise of pixels. From what I can tell so far it's a combination of both. And yes, judging by some of the listings, there actually have been buyers where it says "x amount sold" for hundreds of dollars.

Saw this on Twitter. Was answered only about 20 minutes ago. Seems they have more than 199,500 codes. Seems like maybe they have enough for anyone who wants one. Sort of wondered if the 199,500 number was a marketing ploy to get everyone out there fast. lol

Hers might be delayed since you're in the same household so I imagine they'll want to verify you're 2 separate people and not one person submitting 2 entries under 2 names.

3-5 days was just a time limit they can give themselves to investigate ppl piling in multiple receipts on different emails. Just so they can give some more out on a second rollout prolly late tonight but not nearly as many that were dispatched last night
