Rokien, can you at least admit that forcing other people to play in your preferred style is just a tad silly? Nobody is forcing us to chocobo, and nobody is forcing you to teleport. It's a live and let live situation right now.

Apparently we do force him to use teleport by not wanting to wait 30mins for him to walk to camp.

1. When planning an event, plan ample time to arrive at the chosen destination. If you are a limbless stump, coordinate with others to carry you to the desired location. Remember to tip others for their generosity.
2. If you have caused yourself to be blind, a seeing eye chocobo can be rented for a nominal fee.
3. Remember to wait 30 minutes after weakness before riding the ferry to Limsa Lominsa.

On a more serious note though He's just gonna keep on making the same threads about anima/teleport and exp/lvling til SE changes it to his liking. Each idea getting worse then the last.

I think people have a misconception that popular threads mean the ideas are taken into consideration. This is far from the case. I have a suggestion thread that doesn't even have three pages of posts that a dev responded to.

I wouldn't be surprised if they actively ignore his OPs at this point.

Oh but didn't you read his posts? Plenty of the superior hardcore skillplayers he talks to on a regular basis would welcome this change. They are omniscient about dogging-your-butt-raw hardcore timewasting mechanics, and walking everywhere and having to pause for half an hour after a death is clearly the holy grail of video game enjoyment. It's a tough secret that they've just barely wanted to share with us casual gaming scrubs and our killing-monsters-is-fun uneducated moronic opinions. I'm just offering to help them out by making their professional superfun crazygood longwinded approach to gaming the Almas Caviar of the gaming world.

no thanks, buy a whip and whip yourself everytime you die, that would be a greater death penalty and wont affect any of us who enjoy the game as it is.

I also liked that the OP necroed a year old thread by belgiumrofl (one of the least liked posters) claimed lots of people changed their mind about teleporting (untrue), and then gave support to Belgiumrofl.....way to build up that support Rokien -.-

Seriously its kind of sad that he not only took the time to find the lore about Anima. but read it multiple times. Looked for a loop hole. thought of the idea. Just for a Attempt to make everyone suffer like he is suffering from us using Anima.

I think the friends he's talking about are ancient troll posters of this forum and even long after their death they're still on the fence about him.

Sorry but, I would do such thing, though, events happen mostly spontaneous.
I've said it before with the whole instant airship deal. People are going to FORCE me to do what they like. I'm not forcing anyone on dieing. That's your choice that you die. I'm not saying die or gtfo. If you die, its your own fault not mine.

Oh no, now I know what he's talking about... remember all that fun getting back the level you'd already spent hours earning. I *loved* redoing that every other week! /end sarcasm

The thrill of trying to survive is not getting killed not "oh if I die I get to grind some more instead of doing crap I actually care about". If I die in most offline console games I lose about 5 minutes worth of time (same as FFXIV), it doesn't change the fact my knuckles are turning white and I have decrepid claws for hands because wanting to win/survive makes you tense.

I've stated many times that death shouldn't be fun.
I've also loved demon souls for that punishment as well. It always kept me on my toes, I hated dieing, and losing souls, ya, it pissed me off. Though, it made me a better player.

Explain to me how we force you to deal with our death penalty. When you can choose to make it harder for yourself.
The fact is by you throwing this idea out and every other idea you throw out. You are trying to force us to play the game like you think we should.

Oh,oh, I know. When you die you should automatily go back to lvl 1 and your corpse is then teleported to ff11 where you have to beat the game to get back to ff14. Also as soon as you die you should get locked out of the game for 3 months.

I think that's a fair compromise we can all agree on.

I would have to agree

This idea is absurd. And if you truely want to follow lore, then you would need something irreversible to happen. Dying is temporary and weakness wears off, so dying doesn't follow the lore as you claim. It would need to be more like.... you lose 5 strength that you can NEVER get back. That's irreversible.

But anyways... this is a video game... set in a FANTASY world. It doesn't need to follow every piece of lore exactly. The anima system is perfectly fine as it is.
