Or, and I know this is a tough pill to swallow because you seem to believe SE is infallible, it was translated correctly and they just flat out failed to meet their own deadline like they have all year. But it's also plausible that every single one of this deadlines was a mistranslation. Darn good for nothing professional translators mistranslating times for a year straight...

Really? So you know for certain what the Japanese letter says and can confirm first-hand that the translation is wrong?

Wait. Missed their deadlines all year? I seem to recall a very speedy process between 1.18 and 1.19, where they met all expectations. Even the maintenance went down smoothly, which surprised me to no end.

So if stuff has not been translated wrong lets look @ the post for 1.19 casting changes and gear dying changes, if they was not translated properly people would never get confused in the first place.

You seem to be saying that the reason we didn't get the notes when 1.19 went live is because the notes weren't translated properly. You don't seem to be taking into account the likelihood that they're flat out late. Considering how often they've delayed everything else, I don't know why you would rule out this possibility. . .

what exactly has been 6 weeks late and if it was they would have let us know, show me some content that came 6 weeks after a date they promised it was gonna be there.

. . . The class reform notes are six weeks late. Your belief that this is not the case because obviously the notes are mistranslated or we'd have the notes, or because otherwise they'd have let us know doesn't make the notes any less late.

We're having the notes when it'll be time. We know that we'll have them before 1.20, so keep waiting =)

It would be nice to have major update notes as a whole though, and not as a once a week special (this isn't a TV show). Also when using an example, use terms that we can associate with, actual data so we can relate to it. Not this WS1, WS2, WS3 stuff causes effect ABC on target, it means nothing to me since you [Square-Enix] have not really told me anything besides a concept on what you plan to release on the next update...surely you have more than just a loose concept completed this close to implementation.

I just ask for refined and concise words when releasing information that are meaningful, I feel that would alone could cull a lot of the animosity and angst found in these forums.

They were giving a general outline of the system, so they couldn't give you what WSs it was, because it seems like it could be different ones, depending on the class. It's still under development (says the red text with the stars on it).

Aye, but there's the rub...no details. Square-Enix is notorious for giving as little of a lot of information as possible, they've just been able to mask it quite well for some time versus the era of FFXI's updates.

They won't tell you whats in Mcdonalds because its super fattening along coca-cola's! The special sauce is usually 3-500 hidden calories on an already insane amount of calories alone!

I think they might have a public holiday today.

Perhaps they are spending the one scheduled to take place on the 23rd early.

SE will give us as much information as they can when they can. It's not going to be a detailed recipie of everything that is going to be in the next patch because everything is still in the air and in development. They know what they are doing, where they are going. The fine details are still being worked on. They are not going to give information that is not set in stone to us because of possible retractions and changes, this is to avoid backing them into a corner by the community by saying "Well you said!"

i know everyone is chomping at the bit for moarmoarmoar information as am I. Refreshing the loadstone constantly in the morning hoping for an update.

In the end I know I will get the information when they are ready, and I will have it before 1.2 is implimented. When I get the information I will be confident that what they tell us is true.

it seems to me that some ppl's mentality is "you owe me the information" "i want it now" when really your stance should be "thank you for offering me this information to wet my appetite, when you could have just released this information that i only know exists because you told me about it, with the patch notes, like normal" and "its ok i understand there is a delay, after all it is alot of work, i can't wait to read em but i can wait"

it seems to me like some of you are saying you don't care what state the revamp is in, finished or not you want the information now. and i bet you be the first to say "this is broken" "this is not good for my class"

so you complain that there is a delay.

and when they rush unfinished crap out. you complain that it is rubbish

and i'll be the first to stand in line and say you asked for this crap
