You were talking about "i-frame" buff in some of your comments.

Also :

-You can wait untill a floor is up again to res. There's no need to ressurect ASAP when you have a 1 minute window. Otherwise it's the healer job to send you a res' when they feel it's the right time to do that.

-As I said, besides for floor killing stuff, you're invulnerable while in animation lock and 5 seconds afterwards IF you do not use a spell and auto-attack. But it is still the same as my first point => You can't accept a ressurection randomly thinking everything is going to be fine, and that's not only for this extension, it works the same as before. This is not an issue specific to Dawntrail, or an issue at all.

I keep seeing people bring up the "I'm old, I can't do hard mechanics anymore" as if somehow that's a valid reason to dumb down mechanics. While I do sympathize with people unable to do hard mechanics due to old age, disabilities etc. it's completely unreasonable to ruin the enjoyment of the vast majority of the players for the sake of accessibility.

Hrmmm I saw more than one post complaining about raw difficulty of game while I'm complaining about the artificial difficulty

If you think casual content is boring Then do Savage/Extreme/Ultimate. Literally what is made for.

Idm taking months for gear and prefer it that way. I don't PvE in WoW for a reason

So you are now saying you know that you got 5 seconds immunity after a rezz, yet claimed in your opening that you INSTANTLY die again after a rezz, 5 seconds is a very very long time to heal someone, just throw 1 or two instant heal on the person and they are full again.

It is not the games fault that you or your healer is unable to play the game properly, and if your healer is at 10% mana IN "Casual" content, they are doing everything wrong to begin with, i once had a healer in a dungeon who only spammed Cure 3 and was constantly oom, if you play like crap, expect to get crapped on.

I myself could complain about stuff in this game for hours, but non has to do with my ability to learn how to play the game.
Also i am too working fulltime and managed to clear an ultimate, never ever did i complain about the difficulty or how long it took us to learn the fight, it is all about dedication and patience.

For everyone who complains about difficulty on any normal content i can give you the best advice anyone could ever give:

"Git Gud."

"Artificial difficulty" is a buzzword that doesn't really mean anything.

And the majority of this game is casual content. MSQ puts you in casual content. Roulette puts you in casual content. Hunt is casual content. Field operation is casual content. Treasure map is casual content. PvP is casual content. There's no way to play this game without engaging in casual content especially if you want to play with friends

All the DT content so far is also casual, albeit more engaging and enjoyable. How about you go and do the super casual content that makes up the majority of the game and let us enjoy some crumbs?

I'm gonna wrap up this post with explaining the difference between real Difficulty and Artificial Difficulty.

REAL DIFFICULTY: A telegraph you can react to in reasonable time. And save yourself/someone else can.

Example: Old Monster hunter games.

Make Mistake and big monkey hits u for 80% of ur HP.
You can: Stay down, get life powdered, teammate aggros off, get up and panic dive/farcaster.

Example: Older FF14 Content Casual Fights.

Make Mistake Get hit 50% of HP [maybe 70% if in lower gear back then], vuln stack. I can GET my health back up by healer/vercure/second wind/bloodbath and second mistake will be more costly but maybe not die.

ARTIFICIAL DIFFICULTY:

Example: Latest souls game:

Permit boss to enter spammy attack sequence to hit stun you to death. You CANNOT parry/block/dodgeroll during poise break but can be rapidly hit stunned.

Example: Dogma 2 Stamina Depleted

Enemies hitting you over and over with your stamina depleted completely stops it from regenerating. So you can be hit 20-30 times and thrown against walls unable to break out of it without certain skills.

And AT LAST CURRENT CASUAL FF14 CONTENT

Example: SOME DT fights:

- Fail mechanic, take 50-70% of hp. Vulnerability. Thrown into Hazard/Left with DoT that will kill you in 1-2 ticks. Your bloodbath/vercure/second wind will not save you. Your healer has to be in perfect condition to keep you alive.

- Rez animation locked to fall off cliff or be stuck in large AoE that is going to resolve after I-Frames, no rescue available.

- Rez sick healers unable to keep you alive from the INSANE party wide pressure/ other teammates dead/dying from ONE MISTAKE.

Does this sound like how a Casual Game Mode should be?

What's the point of measuring that?

The relevant duration is how long you're animation locked while you can be affected by mechanics, which (I assume) starts the moment you get the Transcendent buff and not until then.

How did you rez yourself there isn't any rerez in this game, except in bozja, which doesn't have a cliff tall enough.

Secondly u punched your starting clock once it stopped loading. the invuln doesn't start till the rez-animation finishes and you are up and your small amount of hp is restored. there is actually 0 delay I just blew myself up and had a friend rez me just to double check. At the same time I could move is when the invuln turned on. so not even a 1 second delay there was 0.

uh did you do this like, in open world?
Loading screen time depends on your PC, or where you installed your game.
If you're running on HDD for your game, it will take a longer loading time, it's faster on SSD.
Or you're overusing the graphic quality which will take even longer loading time.
