Honestly I find this sort of attitude quite annoying. We were told previous things since it was the most likely outcome with paid, working hours.

The fact that we have bunch of headgear now available for two new races is because those workers decided to use their own, free time, on top of working hours.

Or would you want your boss to expect you to work for free every evening, on top of your normal 8 to 16 -hours? Potentially skipping all work breaks during the day while at it? :confused:

That's not the right analogy. A chair missing a leg is equivalent to the character model itself being incomplete - missing parts of their actual body.

It's more like if the shop normally sold wooden chairs with matching seat cushions (bought separately), but this design is an unusual shape and they haven't made cushions to fit them yet. So they say "here's our new design - it's not compatible with our cushions, but we're working on making ones that fit". You can buy the chair now if you like it and don't mind that an optional extra piece can't be added to it.

All the work they put into keeping this game afloat as smooth as butter, the work they do to keep content coming in a reasonable and exciting fashion, and go the extra mile to implement something they weren't even sure was even going to make it in on time and still people complain. Still people are entitled. Still people are spoiled and ungrateful.

They actually care unlike other mmos that couldn't give a flying foxtrot about you or anyone else's wortheless agenda, but these people TRY to take everyone into consideration. And you asked if we could think of another service that what essentially effs you over royally with broken promises I think I can name a few. How about Anthem? How about Fallout 76? Mass effect andromeda? Bless Online anyone? That's just a few. Now go try those heaps of garbage and come back and tell me if this shamelessly passive agressive post warrants any merit because it doesn't.
If you dont like that this game doesn't pamper your every whim and fancy maybe just leave? Because clearly if people are so upset that a gender for a race with which assest don't even exist for and would take a tremendous amount of time and money to make is enough to make them spew nonsense like sexism and other horrible things, then maybe they were never really here to play the game to begin with.

No, i would expect my boss to ensure we have adequate staffing in the departments that need them as the company is able to provide the services and products we promise, rather than make excuses to why you won't deliver baseline features that have been part of every other player race. (such as visible headgear).

The ability to display headgear isn't an optional feature within the other races. It is part of the core gear display capability of all other player races. So no, this is not a "this couch doesn't have cushions", it is comparable to a piece missing because it is part of the capabilities of every other player race.

How many of the people that want male Viera are claiming sexism? Most seem to be wanting something and asking the devs for that something with very few pulling the sexist/homophobic card. What about all the other things that players asked for that got added? If those worked why wouldn't people try for this at the very least? Was it pampering to their ever whim when males got the bunny suit? Entitled? Sure some are being really sour about this but not all of them at all. Ungrateful? Again, some are but not all. Clearly it's something people care about in game or all these threads wouldn't show up every time new info comes out.

This analogy would work if either Viera or Hrothgar were missing animations, or if they were wearing just gear specially crafted for either race. But they work with all available gear, got their own emotes, 2 legs, 2 arms, a head, a torso, now we even get some accesories.

Just because it's missing either gender, it does not mean either is unfinished.
