Good point, this guy has almost 1,000 posts and only joined the forums this April... besides the fact he doesn't have a job at 60 and doesn't have BRD or MCH even unlocked yet and cares to say that they're in a bad spot? Either he logs in as this character to troll instead of his main character or he really is that delusional, sick of the posters...

There were BRDs in the group for the world firsts of A1S, A2S, and A3S. I won't be surprised if there is one for A4S.
I see statics in PF looking for BRD and MCH all the time. This may be because there are less people playing it now, but there is certainly demand for the classes at least (compare with how basically nobody wants AST at the moment-- they are excluded from lots of groups.)

I think MCH is in a good place from a design perspective because the class has been designed with GB in mind. They just need to make MCH's DPS a little bit more consistent, and less dependent on huge Wildfire bursts, and I think it will be in a really good place.

BRD is a harder one because frankly the class doesn't seem like it was "designed" with WM in mind, rather WM was simply thrown on there without much thought to how it would work with the class' existing toolkit. It needs more work I think.

None of those are game changers like Paeon and Ballad are. They are more like Requiem, which doesn't lower dps (except for the cast time).

Having unique abilities that make you valuable to a raid is a problem?

Actually I think you're right. Was unaware of that weapon and looking at their other clear photos they have the DRG instead of a MCH. My apologies on that, the photo isn't that great of quality and looked like a gauss barrel when I saw it. I updated my original post.

For sure. The only reason I noticed it is because I saw a dragoon with the same weapon in a Sohm Al run I did the other day :)

Thank you, yea I made sure to go back and correct my original post. That being said I still do stand firm that both jobs are in a good spot and what we're seeing is negativity that the community started and has spread like wildfire, maybe before they changed the cast time on WM and gauss barrel there was an argument to be made but now I just don't see it.
