Yes that's true, but he DID mislead in spite of your attempts to play semantic games.

Fact is, when asked that question LAND hadn't been mentioned so clearly the questioner was expecting ONLY to have to pay for a HOUSE .. thus by his reply Yoshi set the expectation that this would be a rough idea of the TOTAL cost to acquire a house and be able to enter it.

Servers cost a lot more than they expected to need to pay, which means they need you to work harder (or longer) for your FC housing. Yes, it's a TIME SINK. It's the nature of MMOs. "From there it will be possible to buy more land" He does state actually about land, he just doesn't get into grim details. However, wouldn't it raise an eyebrow, that when you buy your first house you would have to buy land for it as well?

House= 4-5 people from 1-50

Land= ?

Technically it has been known about land has to be bought, just didn't know how much.

House and land are two different things. He ONLY discussed about the house itself, nothing about plots until the last minute.

Now, I will agree with you that he should have stated both ahead of time, Not just state "House will be obtainable with 4-5 people from leveling 1-50". He didn't misled because he didn't actually state anything at all about Plots.
