From there it will be possible to buy more land and rebuild, things like that. There will be lots of things you can do like have the roof changed to a different style, and then paint it whatever color you want.

Gaming is supposed to be enjoyable, we are all here to have fun and relax after work. I don't want to have to sit and farm 8 hours a day for the next 3 months just to get a FC house. The price is Sadly out of reach for most players and has disappointed a very large part of the community who were mostly looking forward to the housing feature in this game.

And right now it will take like what... 50 players with a level 50 class to buy a house o.O Granted, we will have to play 2.1 and see how it goes first... but from experience thus far, I don't enjoy playing markets so I don't bother trying to play the market, and I have a hard time making even 200k gil, I think the most I've ever had on me is 250k at one point.

Buying a house is most def. true. What the prices show are the PLOTS of land being sold. ( Again I don't agree with the pricing) but to say he misled us isn't correct.

You either don't know the definition of the word 'mislead', or you're being overweeningly literal with precise definitions of words, to a Bill Clinton 'definition of the word is' level of extreme.

Either he knew at the time he said this that land was expensive and houses are cheap, and so he mislead us by mentioning the cheap and not the expensive; or they chose to add the land as a cost later, in which case he's known about it the past several months, and chose to drop it on our heads just two days ago with the patch notes. Either way, it is misleading.

The very worst plot of land on Gilgamesh (and it's attached servers) costs 8,000,000gil... Which, while not the most expensive is far out of the range of the FC's that would want a small house (the 6-10 region); I'm sorry, but the average player does not have millions of Gil to donate and shouldn't be expected to have that much. The cost should be in building the house up, not getting the land.

I'm fine with having to put in effort for housing, but when you compare XIV's housing system to others.. one of Square's "Big things" of XIV falls flat.

Now, I will agree with you that he should have stated both ahead of time, Not just state "House will be obtainable with 4-5 people from leveling 1-50". He didn't misled because he didn't actually state anything at all about Plots.

Yoshi P totally didn't mislead anyone, just like how no politicians ever lie - they merely misspoke.

Imagine asking the dealer how much a car is, and when it's time to pay, the guy tells you the engine will cost you an extra 100x what he quoted the car for.

No... Do you not realize that you can mislead by omission as well as by what you say?

If my wife asks me where I've been, and I say "the library", I may be telling the truth, because I stopped there for fifteen minutes on my way home. But I'd be misleading her, because I spent two hours having an affair at my secretary's house, which I omitted from my account. I have mislead her with an incomplete truth.
