Some more thoughts.

G'raha and his soul

I really wonder how dense his soul is now...when we rejoined with Ardbert our soul got more dense. We are now 9 parts of the old soul..but G'raha should be over a complete Anicent soul right now. His old self already had 8 parts and now he rejoined with his 9 parts, which means that he should be complete right now. It would be a bit different if he only gave his memories but we do know that he also gave his soul. So seeing how it was all the time before that, he should now be really powerful and kinda like an Ancient right? (It could of course be that SE never thought about that and just handwave it away somehow..)

Also Elidibus was not able to control him because his soul was so dense. Doesnt this mean that at a certain amount of rejoinings they would not be able to possess people anymore or with great difficulty? Also if all the people are nearly rejoined after some more calamities..wouldnt there be a point where this huge amount of people would become a serious threat?

Ascians and their memories

This patch, and especially Elidibus situation, really showed that the Ancient one were just as flawed as we are and also suffered memory loss. Which makes Emets declaration that we cant be trusted to keep their memories alive kinda ironic. He himself cant even remember the faces of his people. No matter when they will always appear like the faceless mask wearing humans. Even when he recognized our soul he only saw such a being. I know of course that this was mostly done by SE, probably to not create so many faces and to keep them a mystery. But just viewing this purely from an ingame point of view its quite telling that neither Hythlo nor us have a face too.

And Elidibus is even worse. We see directly into his old memories and even though we can hear distinct voices, the faces are still not really there.

Welps seems there is a ingame explanation for my first point..

To be fair.

Regula is likely considered a traitor to Garlemald like Gaius and unlike him didn't have any feats like say conquering Ala Mhigo to his name. Wouldn't be surprised if there was some spite going around, assuming Emerald and Diamond were in later stages of development, and that Garlemald knew Regula defected during the Triad arc.

Plus the Pilot swap was unintentional to an extent as one of them wanted to sacrifice himself to save the life of his more competent brethren (namely the actual indented pilot), especially with the new knowledge that piloting the WEAPONs are inherently suicide missions.

That said, the fact that any of this was allowed to happen at all proves that Valens is the worst of scum, and given recent developments with Zenos and Fandaniel I doubt he'd be the last we'd see of such scum.

A few sides notes though, the first being that I expect an Amethyst Weapon somewhere in the storyline now, because Valens strikes me as that egotistical. The other side note is that Regulas' surname is Hydrus,

More Dwarf Quest stuff

One of the dailies has you help a dwarf named Girutt set up a bar, and after you complete it there's a few bonus scenes where you can act as a bartender for a bit. One of your customers is Tyr Beq of all people—I was quite happy to see them.

All of that is there, yes. But like I've said before—with the way he talks, what happened doesn't seem as cut and dry as it's being presented. And if he keeps that up, the question will keep resurfacing in my mind. Kind of like Minfilia's fate, I guess. Every time some weird bit of text pops up, or things happen like the "Hydaelyn Form" of Shiva having blonde hair instead of red, I feel like the writers are doing... something. Hedging their bets, perhaps.

Or maybe I'm just reading too much into things.

Sapphire Weapon

Finally got the TT card from the NPC, Ruby Weapon was the 1st weapon created so Sapphire's updates were just not given enough time, data is continuously being sent back on how things have gone mid fight so expect the mech we used to have a glaring weakness exploited going forward or something like that that'll make the mech not as good, Sapphire consumed a primal in the Darvos Narrow wherever that is and who or what summoned it no idea just it was a primal associated with water.

Was I the only one who got an impression that G'raha's soul was not transfered, only his memories? I thought it was sad to loose another person who was 9/14, since Source G'raha is only 8/14.

• A dream. The most cliched cop-out but also likely the other viable way of reconciling the lore with the raid series. And that has the issue of "why does the WoL and two unrelated dwarves have the exact same dream of advanced robots in Kholusa?"

As I understand it, Hildebrand is canon because the stories are being told by someone's point of view, and that person is greatly exaggerating the events. But I remember when I first started the Hildy quests and wondered how it was Hildebrand and his dad could run faster than a speeding bullet, jump tall buildings in a single bound, and were more powerful than a locomotive. They even put that Superman reference in the game. :p

It's definitely for comedy but I think the shenanigans have been exaggerated.

Is this may be due to the fact, he in fact became his own soul counterpart on the first by going back in time/dimensions? I mean who WAS his First counterpart otherwise? I also wonder if by him accepting his past self they may have left out that he also needed to accept his potential future self, rather than him just becoming "augmented" code? Would that mean however, he gained "2" vs one since future self came from a calamity, and became apparently his own FIRST counterpart?

More G'raha stuff:

if you talk to him in Rising Stones and ask how he's faring, he talks about his soul density and how its denser than he was expecting, and he postulates that its b/c he'd undergone an additional rejoining in the 8th umbral timeline. So he's definitely saying his soul came over.

I thought it was weird that his soul infuses the vessel and yet he is still clearly conscious in his crystallizing body, cus after it glows he looks at us and smiles and nods. How do you do that if your soul is no longer in your body?

So I was very confused about why Ryne was actually smiling in the end of that scene, especially when the WoL looks sad. I thought he'd died and we had a SOMA situation. Which, to be fair, we still might, I suppose? Either that, or the last traces of his soul went into the vessel after he crystallized? I don't know.

Some speculation pertaining to G'raha

I think he might had gotten help with Beq Lugg, who is a noted expert on soulcraft, or otherwise found out how to split his soul. And the strange thing is that there is a precedent. Sundering aside, Feo Ul as Titania let a little piece of themself travel with the WoL (and both of them show up in the Gauntlet).

It's also possible that he was using the Tower to animate his corpse while his souls is int he crystal. Like a Frankenstein's monster of course, with the tower ebing attuned to him ensuring that there is continuity

This is the first stone found, It has Virgo(?) on it from what I can make out? that would make it ultimas stone, right?
