What I liked about Dion is that I feel like he was the gay character done right. The LGBT parts weren't shoved down the throat. The kiss was there, it happened, and everyone moved on. It allowed him to feel like a normal human being to me because I wasn't constantly reminded every scene about his sexuality. I am a right leaning person and by the end of the game, Dion ended up becoming one of my favorite characters. So that should really tell you something. It kind of helps that the internet didn't make a big giant deal out of it like Ryne and Gaia holding hands. Dion is in my opinion, the best example of how we been wanting characters to be approached for a long time now. Instead of taking already established characters and turning them into something else. Other companies should really take note of how SE handled Dion and follow suit.
