I'm impressed, and I'll actually be happy to share with you what I've done. I'll make sure to start keeping track. I started yesterday and didn't get one, so I'll start the data with a fresh batch of numbers.

Duuude, you need to stop acting like an authority in regards to Atma. You are not. You chime in on every single Atma thread attempting to discredit ANYONE who says they took a long time to get one and start trivializing their unfortunate luck.
Guess what, people have bad luck. I know this may seem like a difficult concept to you but just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it's impossible or even "highly irregular". Actually it is very probable to have people who go 100, 200, 400, 600 FATEs without getting a single one because what can happen will happen (another statistic law since you love them so much).
I'm attacking your lack of seeing the big picture. You chime in every thread and say the same thing. "It hasn't happened to me so your experience is exaggerated or you are doing it wrong."
Funny you accusing me of trying to discredit you and attacking your character when that's all you've been doing to others.
Challenge accepted.
I see, so when you were abrasive with me, defending myself was an opportunity to topic stalk me and discredit me down the road. Convenient. Also, pot meet kettle.
Wrong zone or wrong weapon are important points, especially for someone who has not farmed many up. Everyone has made mistakes like that, even you. Even me.
And yet you have more to say.
Its 74 now. The droprate for the last nine isn't changing my average at all. But I'm sure you don't care.
Continue to attack me if you must. I am sharing evidence, and to voice my support for a game feature that a select few people find important to push SE to alter, for the sake of their wants.
Why can't we have multiple paths to high end weapons? Do they all have to be earned through straight dungeons or bosses? You already have Levi weapons, Soldiery weathered/unweathered weapons t9 weapons and even Ramuh weapons soon. Why is it so important to take this play style away from those of us who support it?
Now you are putting words in my mouth. No, I do not consider myself more entitled than anyone else.
But the door is open, this is a new feature. Lo and behold, some like it, some do not. To each his/her own. But you seem interested in taking something we like away from us. Because it doesn't fit your own definition of fun, you think none of us should have the right to play this way. Or is that not what you are inferring? Please clarify if so.
Now who is grasping at straws? He asked me "what if the majority" etc etc, and I responded with a yes answer. If it were quantifiable.
If.
I'm more speaking of quotes like this
You replied to two people here trying to discredit both of them.
Now here you are borderline calling the person a liar.
And here's a bonus
And don't get me started on the number of threads you've posted that you've done 2000 FATEs with 65 Atma.
Edit: I find it funny that you try to take the high road while doing what you claim I'm doing while admitting to doing the same thing.
By your own words - "pot meet kettle"
Also, why do you feel you are more entitled to the opinion that they should keep it the same than the people who want it changed? What, some vocal minority argument? You can't prove who is and who is not a minority in this "opinion war".
I'm glad to see you've provided statistics for an average. That is what I was referring to.
Unfortunately, a law of averages won't apply to formulae whose averages have not been determined by the creators publicly. Therefore, it is an infinite chance one will acquire atmas over the course of the time spent hunting them.
Unless yoshi decides that he's going to reveal the rate.
I have yet to see one person who complains about atma drop rates, provide # of atmas completed, or any statistical data.
Seeing as how Duuuuude, has far more compelling evidence. I would say the majority of people complaining are doing it wrong, or are counting hours instead of fates.
Hours are irrelevant to drop rate, and only apply to efficiency of farm.
I had 9 different atmas in only 4 hours few days ago. One other time I had 0 in I think 3 hours. I guess I was just really unlucky that time. I don't think the droprate is the problem. Just wish it was more entertaining.
Either way it's nowhere near as bad as doing Brayflox HM 270 times.... That really gets old fast.
