you've registered your pre order code but not your registration code. look for it in your e-mail. mine was sent on the 27th.

I just checked a minute ago and there was no active account and now it is there, this is getting interesting

I am having problems as well. I did make the mistake of starting a new service account under at the start of phase 4, but I never figured it would be a problem. I just thought that I could leave the one I used for phase 3 and continue and pay for service account #2. It even has it listed in my mog station, but it says inactive. I bought my ps3 physical copy at 12 on release, and put the registration code in as soon as I got home. I feel like I may have done so prematurely, as now it's saying the code is invalid. I seriously don't know what to do other then to call them up. All of my stuff is linked correctly, but like I said, I created a separate service account, but it is all umbrellaed under the main account, so I can't see that being what the problem is. I feel like this is on sonys end for the ps3 problems.

THIS^^^ I have to wait to pick up my physical copy tomorrow before I can solve this issues, but happy knowing that it can be solved.

For anyone having problems with the ps3 registry, I think this is an error on sonys part. They just took FF14 of the PSN store not to long after people started getting booted. Something Screwy is going on.

Edit: Alright. This is incredibly stupid, but I found out why my code wasn't working. I have been reading a B in the code as an 8. Just in case anyone else has 8's in their codes, double check to make sure they aren't B's. /facepalm

Are you trying to log into the PS3? Because EVERY player from EVERY account has to buy a new copy of the game to play on PS3.

Problem fix'd enjoy! Just click on Realm Reborn Symbol(+) and add there and You have to put in card (not gonna charge you) but it needs to be done.

Go to your email, find the one from webhelp.v4

copy down your order number then click the findmyorder.com link

register if you have to, then input your order number and hit find

You'll get a page with a bunch of stuff on it. Find the bit that has your SERIAL NUMBER. Copy that down

Open the launcher, click the button at the bottom that says Account.

You should get a page that looks like this: (pilfered from an earlier post)

I logged in before work at 6AM Central US. No problem.

Early access is over and Official Service has begun. You will need to update your payment/subscription information in order to continue playing. Payment won't be taken until the 14 / 30 days are over, but the information needs to be in place to be able to log in.

Yea it is because early access is over, but there should have been a short grace period to enter your code, like 2 or 3 days in case of delayed or some cases lack of shipping. Order'ers of the Digital download version should be fine tho.

Still waiting on my physical PS3 copy which I ordered directly from SE. Tracking shows package in Florida since 2 days ago with no change. Cant play unitl physical copy arrives. Preemptive question: Where am I supposed to enter the code once I get my physical copy? Do I redeem it like any other PS3 code?

I haven't been kicked, but I can't seem to log in. I have already set up a payment plan, I'm a Legacy account player... it keeps telling me I don't have an account.

Mine still works perfectly fine. I made sure i applied the code that game in my CE box to my mog station FFXIV service account that had my Early Access.

A pre-order/early access code is not the same as a game registration code. You should've also received a separate game registration code.

For people who were 1.0 players but are still being told they need to enter a game code, did you set up a new service account? It seems like a lot of people did this during the beta test and you only get a free copy of the game on your 1.0 service account. If you created a new service account for the beta and/or early access, it's not going to have your 1.0 privileges attached to it.

People let me explain, and no you're not dumb, square is.

There are 3 codes (Maybe more there were three for me)

Your preorder code, your early access code, and the actual code for the base game. Yes it is REALLY REALLY stupid that there are this many codes. Square let you play the game without entering the last code, the base game code, during early access. Why? Who knows. Why all this isn't on one code, again, who knows.

So you have to go to where you bought the game from (or in the game packaging if you have a hard copy) find the actual game key, and enter it in your launcher when you login. DO NOT CREATE A NEW SERVICE. You should be logging into your account and hitting next a bunch of times.

Most of you probably bought this on amazon and it said your key will be available when the game launches, this key can now be seen in your my games screen. Go there and enter that key.

The key for me was realizing that SE would be dumb enough not to just give you 3 different codes.. but FOUR DIFFERENT CODES.. ONE OF WHICH IS BRAND NEW AND WAS IN MY SPAM EMAIL BOX.

The people apologizing for SE are ridiculous. A company should learn how to make things USER FRIENDLY on a basic level. Their incompentence with server stability, and this whole registration system seems amazing considerng the game itself seems solid and fun.

i founf that more codes came up for me when i go back to the site i brought game from. i did se store so i had to go to findmyorder website. amazon should be same if u access there site with product u purcased.

This is not to White Knight, but there are reasons :

Initial Registration was for BETA ONLY.
Early Access code was for Early Access ONLY! Because you didnt pay for the game yet, maybe 5 dollars at GS or a Pre-auth charge from SE, until the game is finalized, you should not have the official game code. You could also cancel your pre-order and the EA code was still usable.
Pre-Order Code is a "promo" code just for the Cait Sith/mog hat. This is similar to the code for buying BEFORE METEOR soundtrack and possibly other Promo codes to be determined.
Registration Code is the actual game code you get after FULLY PAYING for the game.\

Yes there is a lot, but you also got a lot of different services.

Finally.. extra servers.. they did, 3. But that wasn't enough when Pre-orders skyrocketted in the last several weeks before launch. They have stated that they did buy even more hardware, but it is a long process to get that stuff running, several weeks of installation and testing and approvals not just from square but bandwidth, government server approvals, etc. Every other game faced this, even WoW which was FAR worse launch than this. Calm down, free players are gone today.

When Amazon gave you a code, they gave you a code for EARLY ACCESS. This code will only work until Today because the GAME Registration code was inside the game and they don't open them to get theme. Please apply the code to the PSN found on the back of the insert pamplet in the PS3 game case :

PS3 XMB > Account > Account Management > Redeem Code

It will prompt you to download, but if you downloaded from P4/Live you don't need to. Simply try to log in to the game and it will prompt you asking if you want to tie your SE account to your PSN account (again). Click yes, then enjoy your 30 days time.

Wait im having same problem with my PS3. when i bought ff14 CE on Amazon 7/4/14 i got 18 code then later the PSN 12 code to enter on PS3, game worked fine until today 8/30/13 11:00am est. i got my CE on 27th do i need to enter the codes from the PS3 box CE to play or is this a SE problem ?

and sit in que then kick me ass soon as i cast a spell repeat log then lose my character try to call and file ticket but guess what there phone bussy and they have no live chat help and only email you get is saying well get with you in 48 hour but turn out to be week later dose any one know if ther going to fix it i not see any thing better about this and 1.0 yeah no exp cap yeah but if you cant play the game but 5 mins and take 6 hour to get back constantly trying to log in it not make a matter of fact if there a cap or not if there a cap or not

I've played almost all MMOs at launch in the last 12 yrs excluding wow.. never played WoW more than 2 days. I know you don't want to consider yourself an apologist but consider this.. every single one of those codes could have been combined into one single all-powerful code - as other MMOs have done. I only got into beta cause i pre-ordered. They could have made certain codes that gave you the same rights to all of those codes in just one single code - like other MMO launches do. There could still have been less powerful codes - like if people didnt pay for beta like I did.

Generic preorder code, put into site and pick platform so that it can give you a platform appropriate code(PS3/PSN is different to Windows) and a Retail code.

There can't be one preorder code because there's two platforms, the preorder code can't be your retail key because it's given out just for preordering without full payment. It's not that hard to grasp, their sites can be somewhat convoluted though.

Ok for everyone who got a refund from the PSN store this is what you are going to have to do in order to get back on. PSN sent out an email your to sometime this week on your ps3. if you go to that email and click on that attachment, it will take you straight to the psn store. it will pop up with a code already inputted. all you have to do is hit the confirm button and once it goes to the download screen, just back out of the store. you already have the game downloaded you just need the new code that will let you play. I just did all that and im already in the game.

Everyone you can find you're digital code in the order confirmation email that was send to you. Find this email and then go to www.findmyorder.com, once you log-in it has the code for the release version of the game. Enter that code and you can play again.

My product code is 18 long not 20. WTF. My product code from my digital download is 18 characters long. Looks like this XXXXXX-XXX-XXXXXX-XXX. Says thats my Serial Number/Product Code. So either they have messed up or im looking at the wrong number.......


Ok figured it out. I went to the find my order link in my Email and used the serial number and it worked.

You should have an extra email called "Square-Enix, Inc. - Product Now Available" There will be 2 codes inside. Use the 20 digit code.

I got 2 copies, so I had 4 codes. After that, make sure you're on the right SE account, and you're good to go.

The PREORDER code IS the Early Access code, you do not get TWO codes for preorder/early access. Go check those codes again.

Your game code will be on the account you bought the game with on Digital River, and you will also have a second email with it, check your spam folder.

Only incompetent people are the people who enter a preorder code and think that is all they have to do to play.

The pre-order serial number is 18 digits and I already used it to obtain the early access code, which I also used. I have no other damn code. I've searched through my emails.
