Yes, but even without progressing the reconstruction you still have at least two separate visits to the Enclave: immediately after liberating it and then later during the patch quests where things have settled down and you have the opportunity to start the reconstruction questline. I'm pretty sure the aetheryte only appears in that later state of the zone.

If engagement levels drop and the content drops it isn’t going to be attributed to the fact you were required to teleport to an aetheryte that has you within 15 seconds walking distance of the NPC. This is beyond hyperbolic.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't recall a single time we've been able to teleport to a location that isn't loaded on the servers by Default. For example you can teleport to your house exterior but not the interior as the Wards are always active but the interior is only activated when somebody enters it (and for the same reason you get booted out to the garden after a duty or logging out).

Pretty sure not being able to teleport straight there is a tech limitation as a trade off for everyone getting one of their own.

Hopefully they might at least consider adding it to the duty finder menu as a way to enter from anywhere.

That is indeed the case. Places that you have direct teleport access to are usually continuously loaded by the servers (e.g., housing wards, city-states, and even open world aetherytes). However, this isn't the case with content like Island Sanctuary, and I think given the fact that we cannot TP directly to the interior of our house is pretty solid evidence as to why we will never see direct loading onto the islands. At least not for a very, very long time. So it's definitely not based on lore reasons but really just technical, as you have said.

This might actually be the case that many of us haven't considered. Because yeah we can warp to the ward instance but we can't directly warp into our house/apartment. Again this game's engine isn't optimized well and limitations like this show exactly why.

This is a different example but it's also the same case why the game takes a while to load FC chest items out in the open because of the engine trying to handle that information that many players can interact.

Careful, your head might burst under your expanding ego. lol The content will determine if people will like it. Not the one teleportation step. Making literal Alps out of mole hills, as per usual.

Here's another view of the spot where the NPC will be in relation to where the Aetheryte is. As you can see it's not a long walk at all, they're right next to basically.

Whoever designed your FC house may just be hiding the mini aetheryte somewhere then because you need one on the property grounds to teleport there but you don't have to interact with it directly so it can be hidden in things.

As to the OP, I'm willing to wait and see if this is something we unlock since it does make sense to take a boat from an NPC at first as even if it has an aetheryte, it wouldn't be something we had attuned to. I'm not going to immediately jump to oversight, especially when they're proactively instancing Lower La Noscea because they know we're all going to be there. If we don't unlock an aetheryte, then there probably is some technical limitation. It doesn't seem to be an instance like Eureka or Bozja because they mentioned you would be able to queue for things while there, but a 30 minute idle lockout does seem to imply it's not the same behind the scenes as a normal open area.

I will never cease to be amazed by this communitys ability to complain about content that has not even been released yet.
