Oh no, no NO to the hells NO! I swear if they bring back that little dweeb I'm gunna rage and by rage i'll stare at my screen disapprovingly whilst drinking my tea disapprovingly and shaking my head...disapprovingly.

I don't really buy into the Time Bubble thing and I doubt many other people do either. Not just because of lack of suspended disbelief but moreso because a lot of time has passed in their real lives too. So its been a long time for a lot of people and new players play through so much content by this time the events of ARR feel like old news.
That said...
I also cannot truly go for your second point either. Since Kryle and Alphinaud at multiple times bring this information up to the Warrior of Light as well. So even though you weren't really there for the cutscenes... you are aware of the information and their stories.
How did they keep it from decomposing for 100+ years?
He looks picture perfect. At least SE could have brought in some proper zombie action.
A sacrifice is necessary and we have to choose which one of our friends pays the ultimate price.
With lasting repercussions in both relationships and story unfolding.
One can dream, right?
The story was more complicated than it needed to be, sure, but up until KH3 I enjoyed the story. Then it felt like it was just...rushed out the door with little to no forethought, and they released DLC later which should have been in the game to begin with to make it feel more complete. The end of the game was about the only real good part though, at least in my opinion. I can't justify giving them more money for the DLC. They should have just released a shorter game as a paid download that was the final battles. lol Most of the entire game felt like it never really mattered up until that point anyway, and the overall story had already been told in games prior.
Most of those were hinted at pretty quickly that they were not dead. So it's not a case of you thinking they're dead and then down the line they "surprised" you with them not being dead. And as long as there is an explanation that they didn't actually die, I see no problem with it, especially in a world of magic.
Also, Ascian possessing dead bodies are an established fact, so there is no point if they only possess bodies of people we don't know.
Itll be a hoot when we all come back to the source but half the scions are being bodysnatched by second tier asians we never knew existed and the world ends because we're like "sure I'll give you a hug" and we get stabbed threeveteen times to make sure we really die, before being bodysnatched after deaths uniting the world under the banner of New Ascia, formerly Garlemald.
Or rather, that's where the plot SHOULD go now that we know ascians can just reanimate replicas of bodies that were obliterated into bits, but it wont, because they'll forget how to do it by the next patch.
Hes trustworthy right up until the point you realize he never killed any asians, used emo dragoon to set up an alibi, and the masks he has are just a few sleepers hes carrying around to slap onto our friends Mask-style to carry out his true goals.Quote:
Why the hell would I still be holding a Grudge against Gaius at this point
That's not really what the time bubble is for, though. It means we don't expect the calendar to move forward despite months (if not rightfully years) of time and activity between then and now. Our character has still been through everything inbetween.
I also felt my character was overly aggressive towards Gaius, both when we met earlier in 4.x and now. That's not to say she'd be rightfully extremely wary of him and his motives, but the outright threatening gestures seem out of character.
