Gave me the same "processing error" nonsense that I had to deal with back when I preordered Stormblood. Hopefully this time around, I won't have to pay for the same game twice.
When i tried to update my information (because i got some processing error on the first attempt), they wouldn't take it... even though it was the same card i signed up for the preorder with.
If it comes down to the payments just not going through, can i just redo my purchase afterwards and link it up to my account again and carry on with my life.. or do they lock your account or some garbage?
Wait so are they gonna start charging today? Cause I got an email saying that they were getting my order ready for shipping does that mean they already charged it? :S ugh PS4 was way simpler than PC
Just a heads up, I just got charged the full amount of the game which appears as "scalefast". I thought this was someone stealing my account and lifted a case with Paypal.
Would be nice if it told you what was charged on the invoce since the whole "scalefast" thing sound suspicious. I have my Payapal and SQE account on different e-mails so had to check both before cancelling the case with Paypal.
Have any of you guys received your SB code? Or is still locked till later? (I bought the digital ver)
I redeemed mine as in my pre-order codes then got charged about 4-5 days later got sent an e-mail they will start charging as of 6/7/19 don't know if that was for everyone of because I used the code.
Both myself and my husband got the pre-order on the same day. Both 39.99$
Neither of us received an e-mail.
Mine got charged 6/6 as it's on my bank statement. Nothing on my husband's yet.

I got an email with a reminder about what they do if it dosen't go through and that the charge was going to go down 6/6 but neither my friend and brother got any email.
Mine got charged today. Last day of my tiny secured credit card's billing cycle, so I'm glad I didn't use it much more than usual this past month.
Not that it would've been that big a deal; SE would've just tried again next week.
I only got emails that they are going to attempt to charge, but I got a notification text from the bank about it going through. But still no email saying that it did go through.
After not having them charge the order on the 6th like they said, ended up going into the SE Store and MANUALLY selecting 'Debit Now' and they processed it right away.
I tried that, and it gave an error. Now the option is no longer there.
Also REALLY not helping that every single time I log into the Square Enix Store to check, I get a "suspicious activity" email and that I have to change my password. I've had to change my password three times in the span of 48 hours now, so my inbox is now dumped with all of these password-related emails while there hasn't been a peep about the support ticket I sent in because of having the same problem I did back when I tried preordering Stormblood from them.
I swear, it's like the online store is skeptical about the fact that I want to buy things from it. It's at the point where I now have a note nailed to my wall above my computer that says "for ff14 expansions: USE AMAZON!!".
So, they still haven't charged for my Shadowbringer copy I've pre-ordered at march. I am confident there should be no problem at all regarding my payment method and unfortunately, because it wasn't required, I did not preordered from using a Square Enix Store account.
So right now my problem is like this. I have a order number. I received this nice email saying they would try to charge on june 6th, 12th, 14th or 17th. Is it exceeds, they'll cancel my preorder copy. I can't find any way to link my order number to my account, I don't know if it's because my payment infos are incorrect or not. Square Enix Store is being very difficult to me. I've tried to reach Square Enix customer service, bluntly, they can't do anything order than tell me to send an email to Square Enix Store because they don't deal with that. They said I would get an answer quickly and it's been 3-4 days already.
My biggest concern is this :

If I do decide to just pre-order another copy or if I wait June 17th and the payment goes on June 20th let's say after I bought a second copy. I will not be able to get a refund because I've already used the pre-order bonuses and this is quite stressful to me. I'm currently in the limbo and there is nothing I can do but wait and hope SE will take the money at one point. Maybe they'll end up answering my email but SE Store do not have a live chat / phone contact service which is quite frankly very stupid.
I sent them an email this morning as I pre ordered 2 Collectors copies back in Feb and they still havent charged my account either and its now the 11/06/19 even though they said they would charge my account yesterday in the email I got, I do NOT want this order to be fucked up as I've heard many awful things about the Square Enix store, I knew I should have stuck with pre ordering from Green man Gaming like I have every other expansion. x.x
So in my own stupidity while going to check my account on my new computer it decided that I would need to recover my account info if I wanted to see any of my past orders. I tried to do so but it didn't work so I decided to click no one it thinking it was just acting up and would have my current orders from after when they had to do that a couple years ago when they were migrating servers or whatever. I was wrong and now none of my orders are there.
I did get the email about the pre-order and the dates when it will attempt to get my payment, but now I don't know if it even can. Haven't gotten an email saying it can't either so I don't know whether I'll have to redo the pre-order or not.
Neither of our orders say Debit Now.
Neither of us received any e-mail in regards to a receipt or when we will be charged BUT we did get the e-mails where we unlocked the game witht he keys with no issue.
EDIT: Is the issue with though who bought the pre-order earlyier int he year? My hubby and I got ours this month.
I got charged for it on the 7th, so I'm going to assume they're starting to pull it out of people's accounts right about now.
Pretty sure I got charged the day I pre-ordered it. BUT I play through steam so that's probably why. ETA: I also now see the "from square store" part in the title. I'm of no help lol sorry!
I've paid but still have NO option for an activation code yet? Is that the same for all cause there are 8 days left...
The activation code is available on 7/2/19. Right now you can add the early access code and play it on 6/28/19, once the release date hits they will send you the activation code for ShB so you can keep playing after early access ends.
