3 codes, not physical copies, were bought by my friend from gamestop with his card. How the hell are we suppose to get the real codes now? This is ridiculous there is absolutely no reason to separate early access code that you bought for 40$.

i resolved in this way (sorry for my english ) everyone have to go where bought game in proper platform ff14 store steam eccecc click on own copy recently bought and redem new code after apply that new code on mog station account where ask to put it (same as early access) hope work for all like me worked.

I read all of the instructions for claiming your download code through a 3rd party vendor (GameStop, Amazon, etc.) I checked every single folder in my email in regards to an email from Square Enix with a new code, and no such email exists. I play on PS4 and there was no new code sent to me. Lost my access to StormBlood this morning. Does anyone have any advice?
(I've read all of the instructions in this post and I've read every single reply.)
I can't even access the code. I can neither get mails from Green Man Gaming, nor remember my password. I have no way of activating Stormblood. I can't think of any other solution than Square Enix manually activating Stormblood for me.
Did you buy the physical or digital copy for PS4?
As seen above, if you bought the digital version, it should be automatic. If it is not working, then you should indeed contact support.Quote:

I'm having the same issue on the PC (purchased through Steam). Gaming was working fine up until this morning, now it says I no longer have Stormblood on my account. I tried pasting in the "Stormblood Standard Edition" key from Steam into my Mogstation account, and all I get is INVALID KEY each time (though the pre-purchase key worked fine on the 16th). Steam doesn't seem interested in helping me, just saying to contact SE, but they don't seem to be available until Monday morning. Very frustrating.....
On the mog station page is the 3 blue buttons at the bottom of the screen one being registration which I think is the middle option. I think what ppl are getting confused on is that the correct option is at the top of the page in gold. At least for me it was. Click that then put in the 3rd code sequence and your good to go. Also don't trash emails you get from purchasing stuff, its like a no brainer...
I've gone through the multiple threads about this, and went through all the instructions for resolving this, but I honestly can't get this figured out.
I purchased the PS4 CE off the SE store and I've unlocked the key from my order which gave me the activation key from the SE store, which then gave me the promotional key, which unlocked preorder bonuses and early access on my PS4 account. And that's as far as it went. I haven't received anything additional, and none of those codes are valid for anything else.
Tried emailing and getting chat help with support, and never got back to about the situation. So is there something I'm missing here?
Preordered a digital copy from GameStop. Early access and whatnot worked smoothly. The purchase was made through my sibling's account and they claim they haven't seen any email regarding a new registration code. Is this process supposed to be automatic for me? Or is that only if I purchased the game through PSN?
I purchased a physical copy from Amazon and have lost my SB access! This is the weekend! Seriously?! Does anyone have any advice? I bought the PC Physical copy from Amazon and have no code until it arrives.... Amazon website says delivery on July 4.....
Gotcha, thank you for clearing that up. Turns out this is going to be one hell of a headache as I just got off the phone with a complete ditz from my local GameStop... Learned my lesson. I'll stick with PSN and SE from now on.
If you purchased the game through Steam like myself, your CD key is found on the game page. Just put that in at the mog station
I purchased the physical PS4 CE from the Square Enix Online shop and they have completely effed me.
I spent $45 on the "Priority Expedited Shipping" and they did not even bother to send it out till the 21st!
Now I am locked out of SB for the entire weekend (plus however long it takes for the package to clear customs and arrive) because I have no code on hand to register the game, and they have not answered ANY of my inquiries when I've opened support tickets through the shop.
Customer Service is abysmal and a joke, I want a refund on my shipping because this is ridiculous, what company sends out copies AFTER launch and then locks their players out of the game.

Ugh, that's unfortunate. I'm literally at a loss. I haven't a clue what to do. The email address that is associated with the purchase I made through GameStop is barren. No code. Not an ounce of help from the phone call I made. (I'm not making a damn trip over there. Eff all of that) If only it were as simple as them honoring the fact that many of us preordered the game and had early access while it was available? >_>

Pre-ordered my physical CE the day it became available, right after the Frankfurt fanfestival, and then, they took the money somewhere in May. I still don't have it either, I live in Canada and paid the ridiculously high fees for shipping.
Same thing than everyone who complain here, I didn't receive it in time, and when I spoke to someone at the customer service, they said me it's not their fault or their problem, even if the package only left on June 21. It's my fault for living in Canada, according to the guy at SE customer service. So, SE is trully one of the worst company I had to deal with.

Yeah, when you ship to another country it can takes time. And that's why SE should have planned that and send the copy way earlier. FFXIV is an international game, we play a japanese game, and in my case, on the North America server. And North America includes more than just one country, it's not just limited to the USA...
Well technically you paid for a product they sent/sending you the product so no agreement was broken. Unless they made some guarantee that you would get your copy on a certain date then they did not break any agreement, and I'm talking about the SE store or who ever bought the game from not some comment the dev team made.
The problem is they had said on their website that the preorder made after May 30th won't come in time, which means that those made before would be here in time. They never said anything about a delay in Canada. So on my side, I don't agree with you on that. At least, if they had wrote order made in the USA, ok, but that's not the case.
And anyway, since many people is having this issue, they should just give more time on the early access, or temporary code with proof of the purchase. Locking out people on a weekend is stupid, especially the 2nd weekend after the release and when people paid 250$ US for that thing.
They did say a vague format of what you asking for they just didn't put it the way you were expecting it
It does say orders after may 30th would come after release day but it doesn't say orders made before will arrive before release date. It just simply says they will try to aim for release day delivery but may not happen do to location being shipped to (ex. you live in Canada). I personally think the CE is overpriced junk anyways. At the end of the day SE store is just branded with the SE name but has little to do with SE has the store is run by a 3rd party so it really no different then any other retailer.Quote:

Yeah, I figured as much. Was kinda hoping it wouldn't be the case, as I actually got a weekend to really get into Stormblood. But much like other people in this thread, I have to wait on my copy due to the fact I live in Canada and my copy was shipped literally the day of release. :(

This is getting absurd. i didnt buy physical copy but i got digital version preordered from green man gaming.
My computer kept on crashing and disconnecting on pre access so I bought it on my ps4 as well. still pre access but paid for game twice, now its saying i dont have stormblood access on ps4 after entering code on mogstation only got pc which is basically useless.
I got 2 20 digit codes but only 1 worked when it said add game expansion license and it only gave me option for pc. other code keeps saying its invalid and the 12 digit preorder code doesnt do anything either for me.
I just want to play this dam game when im not working 50-60 hours a week, but as has been this entire expansion so far, my time is completely wasted do to ignorance and square not wanting to admit they have no idea how to run their game.
Hi! So, during early access my game was working completely fine as in I had access to everything and was able to complete the main storyline. However, after early access ended, I registered the code that came in from my physical pre-order copy of the game (PC version) that came in the mail (I bought it from Amazon if that helps). Even though I registered the new code, a bunch of my level 60+ job quests went missing. I still have access to everything else Stormblood related (zones, trials, etc), it is ONLY the Stormblood job quests that are missing. I also tried re-downloading the game but that did not work either D: Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!
oh i think i get it. you can only use psn store for ps4 stormblood. so i basically bought game twice for no reason because i have 2 codes for a broken pc i cant even use...

This is my only day off this week and i been spending it all entirely trying to figure this crap out lol. not to mention last week my one day off first day of pre access was spent sittibg in front of rauban for 12 hours before square silently fixed it acting as if nothing was wrong with launch.
A++ expansion release possibly worst ever mmo expansion release that has ever happened i cant think of any company that screwed up so much and was just silent about how there were any problems with it.

Don't really get what you mean you have 2 codes for a broken PC you mean you bought the game for PC twice? Also kind of confused about the having to buy it a 3rd time? But as for the licenses yes you have to buy the game for each system you want to play on so if want to play on PC and PS4 need to buy the game/expansion for both PC and PS4 separately.
Okay to be extra clear I bought two game code through Green man gaming for PS4 and PC for the pre-access. They worked fine I guess except my PC kept on disconnecting and crashing.
Now though after June 20 I got 2 stormblood codes from GMG one of which I used and it only let me choose Stormblood for PC and no option for PS4. Whereas for pre access it let me choose PC or PS4... Now it won't even let me use other code because it doesnt give option to update game license or it just says it's invalid because I already have stormblood for PC. and the 12 digit key I got earlier from square was only for pre-access so I basically bought a full price pre order for 6 days of gameplay on PS4...
If I want PS4 version to work looks like i need to order physical version or buy another copy off PSN... Just really stupid design imo I don't get the need for 3 different access keys and 2 extra different ones for PS4... just make one code you crazy nips.
