In his example, he said that the second person started a month later but actively played the whole time.. so in his example, yes, person A (who left the game for whatever reason) would have more myths because of the rollover simply because they had an account longer. that isn't fair to someone who has been actively playing. If you cant play the game, you cant play the game. end of story.
If you cant put in the very very small amount of time this game allows you to be progressive, then tough. Why should people play every day (or every week) if there is a system in the game that literally allows you to play other games and do other things for 2-3 months, then come back and burn WP for a day or 2 and be equally geared. Its just so sad that MMOs have come to this.
If you pay for tickets to go to the concert, you dont show up until the next week, should the band be waiting on you to play just for you because you couldn't be bothered to show up on time? But you paid the same money!Quote:
This is essentially the same idea, they should be entitled to the option to make up for lost tomes because they are paying for the service as much as the guy who got the tomes each week on time. They payed the same fee so yes they should get the same consideration. I like this idea very much.
If you go to an all you can eat buffet, and you can only eat one plate of food, but the guy across from you could eat 3, should you be able to take 2 plates home to make it fair? or be able to come back twice for free? But you paid the same money!
You pay for the time, if you don't use your time, tough. Stuff like this sounds like the reason every team in little league sports gets a trophy and no one really wins or loses.
In all seriously, if some of these people spent half as much time playing the game as they do crying on the forums about how they don't have time to get all their tomes, they'd have all their tomes.
