Awha: Honest answer? After decades in the workplace in a variety of industries, being thanked when you go above and beyond or do your best to help a customer is crucial to morale. Years ago i worked with a lady, got a small issue fixed no big deal, next day she calls me and sends me a huge zen hug, she had had one of THOSE days and having someone step in to make the day a little less AARGHHH made all the difference.
We all need to be appreciated, we all need positives in our day to make our day a little better.
